Foster cocked up a good chance in the second half by kicking far too early.Any decent winger would have taken the FB on in that situation but as we know Foster does not have the pace to do it.

I said same thing when he kicked it but he knows he's not got the pace to take anyone on.

To be fair, he didn't do much wrong last night but was shocked at the abuse he was getting.

He's put himself 'out there' and so I suppose that makes him a target when things go wrong. And things have definitely gone wrong!

On the subject of wingers, Ade looked very good in the first half, took the ball up hard, looking for work and finishedhus try very well.

He's not stupid, he knows he'd get smashed if he run straight, he's no size and not strong enough to run it straight but he's not fast enough to run across the pitch either.

I see no reason why foster should have got grief last night, he looked interested and looked like he was playing for his place in the team and for the shirt.

As for the break, well he did go past his man, as for taking on the fullback. there was no room down that channel the FB had him. Half a newton off the force of that kick and he would have beaten the FB to the ball and scored. If anyone other than Wellens had been chasing the kick we would have scored.

As for Ade, well on the Hull break he started ahead of the Hull tryscorer, but was no where near him when he scored. That try should have been stopped, just like the Huddersfield break from brough should have been stopped. No point showing the man the gap if you aint going to close it.

Shenton couldn't get near him either which is worry as he was one of our fastest players in the recent sprint trials.

He did stay with him, but could not close the gap. Was right in front of me when he went for the tackle. Timing was just wrong, but he could have done with ade offering some assistance, in the end though it was a foot race and our right side did not have the pace to catch him. But that does not excuse closing the gap, when the hull players where still infront of Ade and Shenton.

Lucky it wasn't on the other side as foster and Meli are even slower.

I was really surprised at Shenton's lack of pace,because Turner isn't fast and I see his long term future as a backrower/looseman.

Shenton has showed, at the very least, useful foot speed in the past so perhaps he's picked up a knock.

I think Turner may be faster than you give him credit for. He was certainly covering the ground at a good speed. It took him about 9/10 seconds to run 80m which isn't slow.
