Kyle is a great player who I would love to see at Saints in 2012 and beyond. However, if he chooses to leave then I would much prefer Saints to focus upon the future no.7 rather than the one that has decided to go. That might not be possible as Lomax and Wheeler are both sixes and Gaskell is very, very new. But if we do have a local no.7 who has real talent then I would rather he be bloodied this season so that in 2012 he could step up, with Leon as his halfback partner. |

IMO it would be a huge loss to our game.
The game can't afford to lose a substantial talent like Kyle's.
The RFL have to do something about the state of our game or we will eventually be completely swallowed up by the union juggernaut. |

As someone who enjoys both league and union,I'm still struggling to see where he would play at union.His greatest asset is his broken play running,but essentially,unless you make a clean break at union,if you get caught in possession,you tend to give away a penalty at the breakdown.
He certainly couldn't play 9 or 10,not inside centre,but possibly outside centre and even allowing for Jason Robinson,his size will go against him on the wings or at 15.Essentially,he is made for league and would be a huge risk at union unless he changes his game drastically,which would then take away his strengths
