Wait till July's opening and you wont have an empty trolly it is gonna be rather large lol

It would be nice if, when the stadium is completed, somebody with a fair amount of patience, trawled through all of the pictures of the stadium being built and found enough pictures taken from a similar vantage point to put together a time-lapse animation, showing it grow before our very eyes!

Just out of intrest, does anyone have any pictures of Knowsley road? Has it started being dismantled or has it completely gone yet?

All of the paddock (scoreboard end) is gone, about 3/4 of the eddington (away end) is gone, over half of the seating stand is gone and I think the popular side is still there last time I saw, although its difficult to see over the mounds of rubble.

There are loads of photos on Redvee.net. It's fast turned into a pile of rubble and the foundations for the new houses are now being laid on the old training pitch area.

yeah demolition seems to have stopped, went past yesterday and they dont seem to have taken any more of the main stnds down, heard something about bats?

I think you will find some geek with loads of time on their hands will do something like that (waves

I like Cas so I'm glad you got some good news. It all gets quite exciting from here on in.

I would be that geek, but for the qualifier about having lots of patience!

Apparently they are dismantling the Pop Stand now.

Looking towards the south stand as a piece of terracing gets lifted into position

South stand concrete terracing is now almost complete, just the back few rows to be done which is i understand for special corporate seating linked to the executive boxes and lounges.



The "Royal box" vomitory above the players tunnel has been fitted, you can also see the first piece of wall separating the corporate seating from the plebs seating near the yellow crane

Cheers mate,I would say the easiest way is to come on the link road off the M62 at Rainhill and it will more or less take you directly to the new stadium.

I think you have enough time to work out the easiest way to get there!
