You could say the same of tge Manu and turner signings. However I believe they are still finalising the deal

But the Manu and Turner deals have been announced. And there was another club involved in those deals.

He's agreed the deal, from what I'm told it's a one year rolling deal.

Kicked 7/7 yesterday, which means he has kicked 13 goals on the trot for us.

Thought he made a couple of defensive errors which cost us try's though, by rushing out.

Manu was quiet, salford did a good job on him, turner scored the winning try, but wad awful defensively, lots of work to do and a big downgrade on shenton.

Shenton is looking like the old shenton each week now and I think it might come back to bite us on the bum.

Foster only rushed out because his inside men did. He's been pretty much faultless in his two games

Manu has been quiet all season except for the odd game. On his day he's Hocks equal, but those days have been few and far between this year.

Anybody fancy coming to pick Turner up now? Been absolute rubbish for 90% of the three years at our club, what your scouts/coaches have seen I don't know.

I must admit, Shenton's been a different player since agreeing his move to Cas. What that says to me, though, is that he's never settled down at Saints and he is playing with a weight off his mind now that he knows he is leaving. I don't think we were ever going to get the best out of him.

He still looks less than average to me. Glad we've got rid. Would love brown to bring Cudjoe to saints with him.

Bit harsh that, unless you call his quiet games 6-7 offloads and making 100+ meters, most of which with 3 people on his back and 3 try assists.

A small insight into the wonderful world of a Hull fan.

East Hull FC Fan is over-exaggerating.

Manu had a very good start to the season, playing as we all know he can (using his unnaturally strong upper body to wade through tacklers and make offloads, creating holes in the opposition defence).

He had a poor end-of-june/start-of-july, compared to his usual standards. He wasn't looking for the offloads, he was sometimes running the ball in instead of making the pass to the centres, and wasted a couple of chances.

He's come back into it and been his usual self in the past two games.

He's a great player, one of Hull's best, and he's a quality signing for you. You'll have a great back row next year with Manu, Soliola, Wilkin, and possibly Puletua (or will he be at Prop?).

I think that the Hull fan saying that he had a quiet season has noticed the poor games he was having a few weeks ago and been a bit blinded by that, saying that he's been like that all along.

Apart from a couple of games, Manu has been excellent this year. Certainly in our top three players with Houghton and lynch.

Bit of a broad sweeping comment that. Have a pop at the individual poster(s) by all means but we're not all as you suggest.

Hull FC and their fans will miss Manu dreadfully. He is the one forward we have who will always beat the first tackler, and often beat the next two or three as well. He is immensely strong and throws opposition players around with consummate ease. His offloading ability is fantastic and when he put Yeaman in for a try against the evil lot from across the river earlier on this season with three or four defenders on him it was astonishing.

Very few players have that ability to get the crowd on their feet just by catching a pass with the expectation of what's about to happen, Willie Manu is certainly one of them.

He was by no means alone, but Jamie had a bit of rough time at the DW tonight. He looks totally bereft of confidence when going into contact, either as a defender or an attacker.
