Indeed there are. SaintsFan's attempt at the floccinausinihilipilification of other posters because of their spelling, grammar or punctuation has given me a great deal to smile about. But, for god's sake, this is an RL internet forum, not the London Review of Books or the Times Literary Supplement. In any case, if her English Lit degree was a decent one she'd know that god does not always have an upper case G, either now or in the past. It's a convention, adopted by some, but not all, Christian writers in the 17th and 18th centuries; medieval and early modern writers regularly used a lower case g (or d if writing in Latin); and such practice is relatively common for contemporary writers of both fiction and non-fiction, christian and non christian (and the same applies to christ and Christian).

Many thanks to Offside Monkey for his clear explanation of the try that Meli did not let in; as someone who never had the privilege of playing league (union I'm afraid, but I've been rescued), it's great to learn from someone who knows that my own untutored interpretation of that play is supported by a chap (or woman) who knows the game as a player.

Fine we got it,you dont like Meli and yes he does make mistakes,but what rugby player doesnt ? . If your going to judge players on mistakes in big games then Billy Slater would never get near a green and gold shirt again.Mistakes happen,they are part and parcel of the game,some positions highlight them more than others,the back 3 being more so than the rest.

Yes Makinson is a great young prospect,BUT he has been found out positionally on more than one occasion ( as pointed out by Pete once or twice ).Over the course of his career he will make some blunders,are you going to jump on those with the malevolent glee you seem to have when you highlight Meli's ?

P.S. I am a time served Electrician who has also worked as a production manager and an Engineering Supervisor in factories. I think that makes me more educated than you. 5 years learning Electrical principles and Engineering principles as against reading a few books.

Do we all now have to post our qualifications with our posts. I thought this was an internet forum not an English Competition. I sometimes use grammar, but I don't review all of what I write. It's about my thoughts not about my spelling. Granted sometimes poor grammer can result in not getting your point across, but Saints fan quite clearly gets the point and so then resorts to English to critise.

Very Similar to when I used to have discussions with Wigan fans five years ago, they were a poorer shadow of what they are now, so when they could not argue their team was better they resorted to crowd counting competitions. Basically changing the arguement just to keep arguing.

I'm not great at spelling or grammar but I run my own successful business. I hate it when education is brought up on a rugby league forum.

I messed my way thru school, didn't go college but I know I earn a lot more than them teachers who said I'd do nothing after school.

Those who can't, teach" sort of a way. And I was in the Keep Royce camp before his sacking, but haven't quite kept the bitter and twisted grudge that appears to be consuming her!
