The effort put into the challenge cup game at Leeds and the massive defensive effort we put in at Wigan has finally caught up on us and there has been signs of that through the last two games. It not only causes us to leak points but even with ball in hand we aren't going to be as potent consistently. Hopefully we rest up this week and are refreshed and ready to go at MM next week.

I don't normally get involved on Saints posts but the "Senile" quotes were Way over the Top when the person/people who the comment was aimed at probably know more about RL in their little finger than some of the "Sky" generation who have only seen the Saints "Dominate" (If one title in 6/7 years can be called Dominate!) an ever decreasing spiral of Talent in English RL!

The rest of you randoms can fight it out for your qualifying semi final, which will be your cup final, then you will lose and will ejaculate on your forums about how you were unlucky and it was a great effort etc etc.

Leave the trophies to the big boys because in games where it counts, non of you random teams will come close to beating saints or leeds. That isnt arrogance its FACT

Not wanting to be pedantic but that's a very convenient way of looking at things given the SuperLeague has existed for longer than that. Whilst I agree with what you are saying to some point, I think the 'Domination' aspect comes mainly from the sports media and that itself is probably due much to the fact that we have finished top of the league for the last four seasons (disregarding the knock out playoffs/grand final aspect for a moment). Its one of those generalisations/exaggerations that the likes of Sky like to perpetuate and far to many people are all to keen to take as gospel.

FWIW I'm not attempting to turn this into a debate either about title history or the merits of the league leaders shield etc.
