Demolition
Demolition work is completed in phase 1 all the buildings have been taken down. The four concrete slabs have been lifted and crushed for re use as type 1 mot. Phase 2 continuing breaking out the slabs and walls in the old basement, this concrete is also being crushed and reused as mot on the site.

Archaeology
The archaeologists have carried out further investigations to the East of the SAM to ascertain the condition of the relic remains of the previous glassworks. This work has been completed and reports been handed to St Helens Council.

Mains Gas Diversion
Mains Gas Diversion has progressed well they have now connected the new gas pipe bypass into the existing gas main on both the North and the South of the site. The governor is due on site anytime and this will allow the commissioning of the new bypass. the old pipe will be decommissioned and this will allow us to progress further with the store foundations. |

From whats on the Barr website It appears that the Tescos is using Vibropiling, However the stadium is using Continuous Flight Auger Piling.
This is due to start this week for the next 3 weeks. So we should be seeing steelwork by the end of February. |

We both have depot in St Helens.
We will leave cemex to it and take all the other work 
To be honest, I'm not to fussed, would have been nice to have worked on it and got some pics of the site while working on there. |

Wigan pay 10% of their gate receipts to Whelco who own the Stadium. Contrary to common belief the money does not go to Wigan Athletic. |

Wigan still get the corporate from match day, but do miss out on things like food and drink, but many clubs lease those out to franchises anyway. |
