You are going on past glories, Puletua has gone, Wellens gone, Soliola (grafter) but not tackle busting anymore, Meli passed his best, Gardener tryer but not breaking tackles anymore. LMS a grafter but a bit of a penalty machine.

Can't think of anyone in your team we would desperately want apart from Danny boy though.

Only one I would have from Saints would be Roby, and only as a back up for Lunt.

Not being biased, my honest opinion there when our lot are on song, which hasn't been often of late.

It makes a big difference which team you watch though. We know that Turner in the centre has been one of our better performers, but then he gets popped on telly last monday at 6 looking a fool. If I had a choice between Turner and Arundle, I'd pick Turner, but I reckon most Hudds fans would disagree.

You mean Wardle? I think a lot of Huddersfield fans would pick Lunt over Roby too.

Ehm, think you will find he plays for Hull, when he gets a game. Which somewhat strangely makes your very point about any particular teams fans being better judges of thier own players than other teams.

Suffice to say both Giants and Saints have some very good players and some squad men, as a group the Giants are currently playing better, which proves nothing about potential.

FWIW as an outsider I believe Saints have to cut ties with the old guard if they are to quickly return to where you are used to being, in professional sport tough decisions are needed at times as sentiment can hold you back, it is a business after all.

I'm always getting those two mixed up.

I know what he said and I know what I said, Arundel (or Wardle as we know him) is in better form than Turner, Lunt is in better form than Roby, what I was saying is the Saints/Giants team picked on here is not picked on form its been picked on reputation, disnt realise would have ro spell it out though. McNamara has also picked on reputation and not so many on form!!

And we would disagree, as we've seen Turner every week and he's been good for us which, given the way the squad as a whole is performing, is frankly remarkable.

You can't know what form Roby is in as he has only played half a match in 10 weeks due to injury and Turner has been in great form for us playing at centre.
