They are sadly slowly extending the wooden fence round the site.

Lots of gas pipes (yellow) on site at the moment.

Have just been watching Sky News report of the reopening of Weston's Grand Pier next week, and they showed a similar sort of thing, how the pier was demolished and rebuilt over a two year period, sort of time lapse photos. Would be great if yours end up as something simlar when the site is completed. Keep up the good work GF!!

The tree isn't growing it's the lamppost sinking.

I can't believe how fast that gasometer is growing.

We can always get him one of those wagans from Hardshaw Brook. The ones they use with a platform on so they can cut back trees etc. That would be ideal - raise the platform and hey presto Mr. Gruntfuttock can see over to take his nice piccies. Mrs. G could drive it around as he does so.

Presumably the bridge will take foot traffic from the town centre along the footpath near the canal over to the site? At least that's my understanding, since cars are going to be directed to the multistoreys, given the lack of parking for fans at the stadium.

witherspoon's should do a bomb on matchdays, what is it 6 minutes walk over the bridge.

all the town centre pubs near to shaw street should do good trade on matchdays, as the walk is only a few minutes, from any of them , and Yes Saintsfan, the bridge will take foot traffic from the town centre into the site, weather it is down the canal footpath (which i would have thought might be a bit dodgy for drunken Rugby fans ,) or some other new footpath we dont yet know

This will be the main entrance to the stadium on Peasley cross lane.
Tescos main entrance is from the Roundabout on the Linkway.

Really like the 70's retro light on the gatepost to the new stadium. Are all the fixtures and fittings going to be of a similar design?
