| Did not get to see the match tonight or listen to it, so it's an impressive scoreline given the London resurgence.
Any feedback on the match greatly appreciated.
Always nice to nil a team.

| We looked determined to defend, kicking the ball early quite often. Defence was good, scrambling well when necessary. The attack, despite some flash passing, was at times rusty-looking with wayward passes and several knock-ons. Luckily, London were suffering the same, so it could have been partly due to the rain.

| The best thing about the match was the hooter going at the end of the game.
I think a third of the crowd had by then already left Langtree park.
People were streaming out with 15 minutes left, as the match was utterly devoid of any invention or excitement.
All of our trys were literally one out fall over the line jobs from an an inside ball.
The only excitement was provided by Londons winger Dixon who was a real live wire.
Lomax was absolutely shocking.
Our wingers didnt get a single running chance in the entire match. Infact the only time they got the ball was on kick returns.

You were so lucky.
I will never get those long hours back. They are gone for good. I so wished I'd stayed home to watch the wheelchair basketball, which has stuff like skill and pace and excitement in it, all of which were missing from that match tonight, including Saints, who couldn't attack a sandwich. The only difference between us and London this evening was that we had the better defence. London clearly suffered for their week off; they have lost their momentum, which was a great shame as I had hoped we would have a contest. Not to be.
Instead we had Silverdud blowing the pea out of his whistle, London and Saints both unable to muster any kind of attack, and London with a leaky enough defence to ensure we won the game.
No way am I paying to see that next week. I shall watch our fourth pounding by Wigan from the comfort of my living room. Unless there happens to be a wheelchair basketball match on at the same time, in which case I will watch that instead.

| Can anyone think of any home game this season where we have played with intensity, skill and entertainment.............I,m struggling to think of any.
This is probably the worst saints team, performance wise in the era of superleague, yet we are in top 4. Just shows how the standard of Superleague is riding on the bottom.

Regarding the game I found it dull as ditchwater tonight. spoiled in the first place by silverwood's stop start approach to the game.

In the past there have been many dull games, however the one thing that kept you watching the game was that there was always the chance of a great try to liven up an otherwise dull afternoon or evening. Quite often that would happen against poor opposition as Saints would be able to break from deep and score what looked like a cracking try, even though it was scored against paper thin defence.
Tonight however we saw a side quite happy to kick the ball on the third tackle, play for territory and penalties, force the turnover, then fall over the line from 10 yards out. It was more akin to rugby union tactics, than traditional RL.
The fact these tactics are good enough to ensure a top 4 league finish is a shocking indictment of the league at present.
Teams should have to win matches not rely on the opposition giving away penalties and dropping the ball.

I think they got a drubbing tonight but I've recorded the match and will watch tomorrow. I really enjoy the basketball. It's much better than non-wheelchair basketball, and one helluva lot better than watching Saints fail to attack a sandwich!
Quote Regarding the game I found it dull as ditchwater tonight. spoiled in the first place by silverwood's stop start approach to the game.'"
Jeez, wasn't he so up himself tonight? He just wouldn't stop blowing the bloody whistle. It drove me and everyone around me nuts. But that aside, we were shocking with ball in hand; utterly clueless. At least London had Dixon. It got so bad at one point me and my mate were hoping Dixon would score. He certainly deserved to. But if he had then that might have livened us up a bit. Might not either since we've looked pretty much the same all season, bar the post 'kick up the backside' match against Leeds at Langtree.
No way am I spending my rare notes on a drubbing by Wigan next week. No way. If there is any of it left, it's wheelchair basketball for me!

We defended OK near our own line for quite a few sets, don,t how the broncos managed to score 66 against the wire and then turn into a damp squid for this game.
We,ve had 2 games now with very little intensity, if Catalans win this Sunday, might be worth to go all out next week to finish third with some confidence for the play offs..

| A truly horrific night. What I saw there tonight was potentially the worst game I've ever seen. It just had no intensity to it at all. London, away from the Sky cameras and their few home fans were appalling and the result was both teams going through the motions for 80 minutes.
I know there are still a few deluded fans on here who believe we have a chance in the Play Offs, but after that surely they would struggle to see any positives in our short term future. Simply awful tonight. We just have no direction at all, no leadership on the field at all. Wellens is an absolute joke of a captain, he was very nearly sent off tonight after yet another stupid, childish rant at an official who got the decision against him right. The halfbacks were simply terrible. Lance tries hard, but he has no experience of playing in the halves and everything seems so off the cuff, and not in a good way. He's crying out to be playing fullback, again tonight it's him chasing back and tackling their breaking players and his pace from deep would be a useful option. Poor J-Lo had his worst ever game tonight. Again, he simply isn't a halfback, none of it comes naturally, it's all forced. Neither have a kicking game and we're crying out for Lee Gaskell's controlling influence. Where is he? He got us to a Grand Final last season and now he's not good enough? Why????
Another frustrating aspect of the game was the goalkicking. Why? Just why? Are we going to mess about like that all year next season? FFS get Foster back and stick him on the wing, he'll do no worse than Makinson, who again contributes nothing tonight.

| You are the most spoilt, selfish bunch of fans I know, and I support the same club. You are complaining after winning by 30 clear points against a team on a 3-game winning streak? We did what we had to do.
If you don't like rugby league, don't watch. Some of you in particular have complained after every single game this season about how ''boring'' it is, no intensity, Super League is crap, blah blah blah. Shut up. Rush is doing what he has to do to get us into the top 4. Our lads delivered 6 solid tries and you complain, so I would like to see you all watching Broncos or some other bottom of the table side every week. King Nathan will deliver the beautiful rugby league you all crave. I promise.......

Hello? We won 30-0 against a team that put 62 on Warrington last week, not bad given that we were 'simply awful'...
Btw, Wellens scored 2 more tries tonight. Comfortably over 20 for the season now. Shut up.

Nothing against kicking early, but it was just the overall negative way we played.
Even when comfortably in front it was grind it out tactics. Not a single attempt to attack from deep or move the ball with any vigour.
To me it had the look of a training session. With Saints trying to major on getting their kicking game right.

Have a little patience. Next season, my friend, is the year of the 'attack from deep and moving the ball with vigour'. For now, accept Saints as they are. Changing our tactics now would be disastrous and kill any chances we would have in the play-offs.

We were absolutely shocking. The opposition contributed to that a lot I would expect, seeing London produce such a farcical performance probably didn't help, but you cannot deny the game had no intensity to it at all. No respect for possession, no quality with the ball and really poor kicking games. It was incredibly boring, I find it hard to believe you can argue that you enjoyed that tonight.
Quote ="JonB95"Btw, Wellens scored 2 more tries tonight. Comfortably over 20 for the season now. Shut up.'"
He was his usual 'solid' self tonight, but you can't give him much credit for his tries. His first was actually a waste of an overlap, he was forced into contact with the line as he couldn't get the ball out quickly enough to exploit the overlap. He stumbled into a couple of farcical half-hearted attempts to tackle him and ended up scoring. Against a quality/bothered opposition he would have been put on his back and would have wasted another tackle and a scoring opportunity. His second wasn't much better.

| It was quite possibly the most boring game of rugby league I have ever witnessed. Very little creativity, safety first tactics, extremely poor decision making. The only positive was our defence, which was resolute, especially with those repeat sets, although we were hardly tested.
We would struggle to score against a good defence.

But we don't have any chance in the Play offs, surely you can see that? We've avoided an embarrassing season by going through the motions and grinding out wins through very negative, boring tactics. But as soon as we come up against any real quality we unfold very rapidly.
Brown has a major task on his hands. Sorting the culture and mentality of the side is probably his biggest problem. We are rudderless, have no leaders and no on-field general. But more than that we lack spirit and we don't have the never-say-die attitude we used to have.
Anyone expecting an open attacking style of play under Brown are mistaken. Huddersfield's entertainment value came from having Brough and some fantastic athletes in the outside backs and at fullback, he'll have none of that at his disposal at Saints.

| Tedious forward grinding with general ineffectiveness from the halves and backs is what we're stuck with for the rest of the season unfortunately and any changes this late would only make the situation worse as regards playoff chances are concerned. Frankly I just don't think Rush could coach any other style of rugby if his life depended on it. This season was basically doomed from the moment the players decided they wanted to throw their weight around and change the manager and we've done about as well in the grander scheme of things since as could have reasonably been expected at the time. But bugger me has it been soul-crushingly dull to have to watch... Personally I just can't wait for the season to end and for next season to start instead.

hotpot100! Ha ha, we saw you tonight. Walking round the stadium before the game my lad (4) asked who 'Hotpot' was. I told him it was your name, not a player's, like he has his own name on his shirt, plus his age. He then asked why your Mum called you hotpot and whether you were really 100 years old.
