How much have we missed this lads 40 odd tackles a match?

How much have we missed his clever lines, and extra option in attack?

The past couple of weeks have shown just how vital a cog he is in our armoury.

I think he's more underrated by opposition fans. Wilkin is a very clever and hard working player who gives us a Scully like option in the back row (like an extra half back)

I would say he is the single most improved player since Potter arrived. He seems to have discovered a whole new area of his game which wasn't explored under DA. Definitely having his best season since 2006.

He has been missed indeedy, even when he runs with his carpet slippers on he still helps us out. Fair old injury list ahead of this Friday's game, could do with "slippers" getting back on the pitch asap.

I've always thought much of Wilkin but I saw a whole new him at the Leeds CC round this season. It was like he had been released to be himself. Two 40/20s in one match. I still can't get over that! He and Pryce teamed up brilliantly. Not that they'd be like that every week if we had that combination as a regular feature, but I think it did both players good and it was really refreshing to see him just burst creatively all over the pitch. I loved that match.

Yes he played well against Leeds.

What other games come to mind of him playing well?

It's not a question of him playing well. I think he plays well in a lot of matches but he's more in the background, a bit like Pryce. It's more that he just came right out of himself in that match. I think he was given a chance to come to the forefront of things, as was Pryce, and it really freshened us up.

I,ve always rated Wilkin, I think he will always be underated by the oposition because of the World Cup fiasco. As someone as already pointed out he does a lot of stuff running off the ball. Gilmour is the same, both of them get through a lot of unoticed work.

He did ok in a poor team on the day.

Powerful in defence, excellent lines and yardage in attack, and clever kicks through to put the Quins under pressure.

Remember against Wigan at Murrayfield when he didn't play, and Long/Cunningham were running across the line looking for runners, and there were none?

I don't know what some people need to see from him before recognising his ability. Calling him average is absolutely insane and makes me wonder what game some people are watching. He is a pivotal player for us without a doubt.
