Our pi** weak squad being exposed to the bone by a side as average as Wigan. If we can't cope with reaching May what chance do we have of winning the GF?

The decision to not recruit bar Tony P with so many senior pros leaving now looks pretty silly. The last couple of years we've had the best side and not won SL as we've run out of steam for the business end. This year we didn't reach May before we were running on fumes.

I'd find it pretty funny if Wigan finish the job and put 60 on us. It would certainly put our season in a different light. For next season they should start signing players. We need bodies to rotate the players from time to time and we can't do that now.

Lets be serious here! Ok 1 and a half games and weve played poorly there's no need to have a right old dig. We are still top even if we do lose 2night which I give you is highly likely having that said you more than anyone should know never to right the Saints off! I wouldnt put it past them 2 go on and win this.

I don't think it's the losing. It's the playing that is the problem. It's the shock of how badly we have played now for two weeks. If we'd played half decently, worked hard, but still lost well that's one thing. But it's the total change which is hard to come to terms with. IMO, obviously.

Not that I was someone who said we would go the season unbeaten; I didn't. But I think it's the drastic change which has left some of us a bit bewildered.

You've got to feel sorry for the likes of Jammer and Clough. They are being pushed to the limit and are well and truly fecked. If we had a squad we could rotate them and give them a rest. You have to worry for their career development, we could trump the Goons and have two Stuart Fielden's clogging up cap room if they carry on with the workload they've got now.

saints could not maintain that level of performance over the whole season,it is quite clear that teams will suffer blips of form during the season!

It happens. The players look lethargic. Probably something to do with the virus that has been running through the camp.

When you have 2 players openly saying in the press that they don't like or want the game in Edinburgh you have to question their attitude.

I am glad I didn't go. But I had no intention of going so even if we had won I would say I was glad I didn't go.

Now do you see why leeds fans saw a bright side to going out of the cc early? our squad depth is weaker too.

For some bizzare reason though many resident sintellins fans took exception to this and thought it meant we were saying leeds didn't try and win.

There was always going to be a positive for either side that went out of the cup early, but i would much rather be in it and win it. However, its better to go out early than later.

What gives Saints and Leeds the right to say they were poor or had an off night when they get beat? You will be beaten again this season. Get used to the fact other teams are getting better. It may be painfull.

Don't be soft. A team can play out of their skin and lose and a team can play rubbish and win. We played rubbish and lost. That isn't a comment on the opposition. We might have played brilliantly but still lost. It just so happened we played rubbish and lost.

Er we haven't won since

The fact that Saints were caught in possesion three times on the last tackle,
That they lost possesion twice on the first tackle from penalties,
That the missed tackle rate was horrendous,
The overall completion rate was probably around 50%

i'm glad i went

But remember when some folk asked the saints board about peaking too early it was totally disgarded. Maybe now some of you may realise this?

When have we peaked?

I wouldn't say we have fired o al cylanders bar a couple fo couple of games this season. If anything, we are yet to peak, and it is later than we started last season.
