Our 'facilities' hold the club back to a ridiculous degree. You see this at major finals, a lot of families going for the day who simply can't when its at KR because it's such a hovel.

Yeah of course I am, but the fact remains that on a typical drab and dreary Friday night Knowsley Road is one of the least hospitable venues for professional sport in this country. The experience of going to Warrington or Huddersfield or Hull or Wigan on the same day would be far more comfortable. I've got several family members who won't go to KR, but who go to every away game at the nice grounds and semis/finals.

I reckon if the new location is popular (I don't know anything about that being an out of towner) we'll add 2,000 to the average instantly if we are still around where we are now on the field.

Except when we get good opposition and a decent number of away fans turn up. Somehow, Knowsley Road takes on a special atmosphere then that I don't think can be found in the new stadia. I hope in our new place we are close enough to the action to still achieve that buzz which makes me, anyway, totally forget about the holes in the roof and the lousy loos and the over-priced naff food.


It's a bit out of town but it is much more accessible for away fans travelling by road (not sure about by rail). If the council go ahead with their plans to offer security at the two multi storey car parks on match nights and if the walkway is well lit and safe then although for myself it's a longer walk it should be quite a good place, especially since the town centre is close by and a hotel isn't so far away for all those people who want to enjoy a weekend in this exciting town of ours.

Saints won't get kicked out before Salford, Cas, Wakey, Celtic and possibly us & KR do aswell.

It would be quite ironic. Kick us out with crowds c 10,000 and yet persevere with the London ' experiment' that still cannot pull in 3000 on a regular basis after 3 decades as they are lodgers in a half decent stadium.

Not to mention the away following we take everywhere.

It would be a brave move to expel us !

As for the sun story as has been said its nothing more than twisted words on what has actually happened. Thankfully we are in a position where we score strongly in most other areas so even if something did go wrong with the stadium (fingers crossed it doesn't) we would be strong enough to survive.
