With it looking like we are going to play Wigan in the first play off game, I know it may seem an easy choice to some but who would you honestly rather be playing?

For me probably Warrington.

The only reason we have bothered winning the league is so that we don't have to play you lot in the play offs.

Also I think you will beat Wigan at least once in the play offs.

I think you have a better attack but I think we could score more against you, where I think we may struggle to break Wigan down, but saying that warrantors defence ain't bad either

Warrington have the best defence and the best attack in the league. Not only that, they play as a team and have very good outside backs plus a hooker who really does lead them round the park and a scrum half who is wiley and experienced and brimming full of confidence in the autumn of his career.

I'd rather play Wigan.

But if we beat one then the chances are we will go forward with more confidence into the match against the other, surely? So playing first against the team we feel we have a marginally better chance of beating may well be relevant.

If warrington finish top it will be a break through seaon for SL. A club who have spent most of SL out of the top four getting to first in two seasons. Or two and a hf if you count the point from when smith tookover.

If Wigan come second in the league do we definately play them on the Saturday. Last week people were asking if Wigan Athletic were at home and saying that we might have to change etc.

I don't care as long as it's on a Friday or Saturday, as Sunday is the only day I can't make! Damn Catalans look like ruining that for me though


Both games would be tough but great, love the atmosphere at both grounds and they're my two favourite away games. Think much depends on how Wigan bounce back from Sunday. Dip of confidence and we could be in with more than half a chance.

Given that last time we were at the Estadio el Crust, we were beaten by a late try after a shocking knock-on, I'd say if both teams are firing, we've got a great chance.

Although beating them would mean, if we come across them in the semi, it'd be at Widnes, where I'd be a lot, lot less confident.

Saints would always have a chance. However the fact that we have beated you lot twice since then at 2 different grounds counts for nothing then?? You will have another year of no real home advantage when you move into a ground that is new for both teams. Also take it from us teams dont fear coming to nice new surroundings. Old fashioned tight grounds are where the real home advantage is

We have improved massivley every season under smith.... 2 seasons ago we finished 9th and missed out on the playoffs.. we now sit 1 win away from winning the league... just goes to show what a great coach Smith is.

One season we did the double on Leeds and beat them in the play offs, but we lost to them in the Grand Final. League games are irrelevant when it comes to the Championship.

Although it won't be a pushover I can't see Wire losing tonight but you never can tell in this game of ours.

i'm glad after many years that we've earn't the right not to play you in the play-offs. the luck is hopefully changing but no matter how good our side
is, i always fear the worst.

Wire should get to pick and choose now so unlikely that wire will meet either wigan or saints until the final. assuming wigan or saints get there
