He is a wing or centre isn't he?

Think we are well served in that area, so what is the point?

He's a winger IMO and he's fast!

He's a winger. Meli and Gardner are both off contract at the end of the year, so it's only right we should be looking for one. He has pace as well, which would be a refreshing change.

He would be a great signing. A very good all round player allowing us to replace Meli/Gardner.

I would take him and let Meli and gardner go.

Bit Id rather we got our halves sorted and put a couple of kids on the wing next year.

It shouldn't have to be one or the other, and I don't think it will be.

Good player and keeps the girls name tradition going at Saints, which is always good.

He's not a halfback or a prop however, so I don't see this as news to celebrate much.

Have to be cautious though, the MEN are in Salford's back pocket in terms of what they write (and probably are told) about Salford.

To all the people complaining that he isn't a half or a prop; you do realise the whole squad needs revitalising. Ade and Meli should not be here next year, and we can't keep using the wing spots to blood kids.

We need pace in the backs.

We often have used the wing spot to blood a young centre, half or full back, but do we have any good player in the reserve ranks who are actually wingers?

Pace to burn, not afraid to take a man on and 25 years old.

That's looks pretty good! Lots of pace and lots of potential.

Can't see him leaving Salford to be honest. He will get a much better offer than he is on money wise and were going to be on the up. Think if we are talking about bringing world class players in we should be holding onto the ones we have. Also as prviously stated the MEN is really hit and miss on its RL news so who knows.

Backed up by Swift, Wheeler and Jones? That could be a very exciting back line if they got the right ball.

I'd say Jones would be used more in the back-row. But yes, looks very quick, exciting and British.

Just need to sort out the halves and the forwards!

Joey Hayes is the last one I can think of. When he first broke into the side he was fast and powerful, but an injury seemed to see him off. That's about it as far as my 21 years watching Saints goes.

do people really rate jordan turner? just wondering to me he doesnt seem at all as good for us as he did at hull last couple of years looks to be going through the motions.

Yep. Koukash has stated very clearly he has money to spend and so I would imagine given the difficulties Salford have experienced while Broughton has been with them that Broughton's agent now sees an opportunity to secure a decent contract for his client, for once. I can't say I would blame either Broughton or his agent for trying to push things!
