Manu - liability in both defence and attack
Defence - bloody awful, and paper-thin whenever the ball goes within 20 metres of either touchline
Kicking game - if possible, even worse than last season - no depth at all
Attack - we look as if we couldn't put a man through a gap if the opposition were 13 stationary shop dummies

What a great try for Huddersfield from the scrum. Really well-worked and skilful. Oh hang on. It was just embarrassingly atrocious tackling by the most shamefully terrible saints side I've seen walk on to the field in more than a decade.

Well, with the exception of that time an Eric Hughes coached Wigan put 60-odd on us at KR, that's pretty much the most abject Saints performance I can remember seeing. Total surrender.

When that's the best thing we can say about a match, you know something's gone pretty badly wrong.

This isn't just one man's fault, because that entire team tonight were unspeakably bad, but whoever thought signing Wllie Manu was a good idea should be taken out and shot. He's a poor man's David Solomona, who's far more likely to lose us a game with lost possession, missed tackles and stupid penalties, than he is to actually ever win us anything.

the only positive is that it will mean they all know the pressure is on and every player has to improve. Its not a coaching problem, an uncoached set of those players should have done better

Oh yeah, that was pretty bad. But at least on that occasion (IIRC) we had the excuse of having been out on lash all week after a cup final win.

We had no aggression in defence or attack.

It was shocking.

I'm not into reading a lot off the first game, had we won 40 - nil I would not say we where going to win the league.

It was woeful, but some aggression from the forwards would not go astray.

Was there any forward who actually ran like they wanted to go forwards rather than hit and pass.

The defence well we just sat and let them run on us.

It was very very very very bad, but far too early to call an end to the season.
