i would put money on McManus talking to royce and KP in person, but the show goes on, nathan brown might of been who was wanted for next season but is mike rush and KC are the season long opiton then we need someone in.

Perhaps they mean Trent Robinson? Would be a strange one as he's not got much experience and it would be eerily similar to the signing of Harry Potter.

Talking of which, Brown joining would also be very similar to Potter's arrival. He's a relatively young coach with no real NRL head coach experience who has done well at a developing club and both spent the years before joining Saints talking of their desire to coach in the NRL as soon as they could.
