Me and my 8yr old son go every home game together.

We missed the cas game this year and odd game last year.

Tonight at halftime my lad asked could we go home as he was bored. I talked him into staying as we would turn it on in 2nd half.

On the drive home after the game my lad told me he is bored of watching saints and doesn't want to go anymore.

I tried to explain that we can't win every week.

He then told me it's not because we got beat, it's because it's boring!!!

It's pretty sad a 8yr old kid is bored watching the team he loves.

To be honest he ain't only 1 who's bored.

You could be Bradford supporters. They all used to think it was a crap game if they didn't win by sixty points. Now it's a good game if they get beat by less than sixty

I'd say tonights game was scrappy, not boring though! Saints drubbing Wakey by 30+ points would have been boring!

He is only 8 years old. I doubt most kids of 8 would be incredibly perceptive to distinguish the facets of the game boring or otherwise. In other words, he's just sitting on a concrete fence for nearly two hours.

I agree tonights game was boring. Every game can't be a classic but from what watching on TV saints lacked desire/ Last week they had a spring in their step and look amazing, against the lesser teams they seem to be going asleep this year.

2nd half was entertaining, but the quality of the game was dire. The 1st half was a less rewarding experience than my dental appointment this week.

if we not winning or beating teams by at least 30 it's boring.

Personally i've enjoyed every season i've ever watched rugby, at all levels.

Low scoring matches are great (tense and exciting)
High scoring matches are great too

different styles but always enjoyable

yes i've even enjoyed the many games you've beaten us

i think you're wrong, tonights game was poor and boring.

i watched it and enjoyed it from start to finish and i was hoping Wellens would get the kick, a Saints win would have been better for wire. wish he'd actually got at least 2 of those kicks.

i enjoyed it, some great defence and the best side won

I can understand an 8 year old boy being bored, but how can anyone who has a good understanding of the game possibly describe that game as boring?

the competition is boring. wakefield play some boring rugby,i only look forward to the warrington,cc and leeds matches. i am starting to think rugby unioun is better.

Maybe the game wasn't as boring as my lad made out but the rugby on show was shocking.

Perhaps instead of using the word boring we should use un-inspiring. The games are not really boring as such but un-exciting. A great little addition is -un-

I agree with the author...........its boring, even the Wildcats were boring. Its just 5 drives and a kick with a lot of messing about at the play the ball, add a dose of grapple tackles. Didn't the aussies play this way 5 years ago.

Can,t count on one hand the number of good games I have seen this season, and I'll not bother using my thumb.

If the game goes any worse, might start taking up golf.

Now lets get things into perspective here. The weather last night was shocking for both teams, as was that clueless French wally in the middle. OK, it wasn't the most exciting game, but as a Wakey fan, we will take that very nicely indeed than you, plus I'd rather Saints finish top than Leeds, so good luck for the rest of the season and hopefully, see you in the playoffs!
