If he wants to stay, do we sign him up and lose Moore or let KC go and re-sign Moore?

I've gotta say, as great as KC has been, we need to let Moore have the game time to settle in at 9 with Roby.

If we could play KC in another role for a year, so be it, if not, it's goodbye from me at the end of the season.

We can't let him go, he has been immense the last few years.

Moore and Roby can play hooker and KC can be backup and play fullback for all I care, it would be his experience and knowhow that Moore would benefit from.

Could we not offer him some kind of coaching job, as well as a player. Conditioner/player, then only use him when needed to rest players.

And based on that form he has another year left.

And what would you do at the end of that season when we're left with only 1 hooker? Who would you sign?

Next season I'd give Moore another season out on loan to develop even more. If possible at Huddersfield where Nathan Brown has done a good job with Moore.

Why should Moore settle for that?

Because when KC retires he will be hooker in a sucessful team.

Maybe he wants to establish himself, be top dog, not wait for the decadence of the past to brushed away.

Moore's OOC at the end of this season though, is he not? I don't think he'd re-sign with the carrot of another season out on loan just so we can be sentimental with KC.

Scott Moore would gain more from a season spent training with KC than he would being dumped in the first team at Saints.

I think we can afford to keep him in the squad both pysically and financially. Worst case he fills in at prop and or hooker with Roby and Moore the primary rotating hookers.

Or even with Roby at loose forward.

Enough of the moving Roby about. He's finally coming into his own as a hooker now.

If KC stays and if we re-sign Moore, than Ty is right, KC will have to make do filling in at prop or as back-up and back-up only. No moving Roby whatsoever.

Exactly, give KC a player-coach role and use him sparingly as cover in both positions should injuries, fatigue occur.

IMO we should bring Moore back off loan and give kc another year.

Then it's down to Moore kc and roby to fight it out.

A bit of healthy comp for all 3.

I wouldn't play kc anywhere else other than hooker unless we had major injuries.
