All I hear on Sky Sports is these two teams are gona be grand final / the real deal / a champion side/ Amazing attack / Fantastic Defence

Seems to be the we love wires, wigan and hudds show

Saints obviously dont exist anymore, not a mention! No matter how much we have been underperforming so far this season we are 2nd in league by 1 point and our points for and against look pretty good against the rest.

Anyway I will shut up now rant had!

We were noticed in the red button show tonight. Eddie Hemmings made reference to us 'lurking with intent' in second place. Stevo belatedly said how fantastic Roby is. That was it, like, but it'll do me. I'm quite liking this written off status.

To be fair after 4 successive GF loses, maybe people have just discounted us even if we can go all the way.

I much prefer other teams being hyped up. That way you don't suffer the hyperbole of a win making you the best team ever and a lose meaning you are history.

Keep winning boys and let the others hype it up.

Been a few years since you won a trophy, probably why they leave you out of the discussion. You've had one great result in leeds away, the rest have just been easy beats.

I am loving the way we are out the spotlight at present, our fans are not all over other peoples websites saying how great we are and we are going to win this and that...............

When did Hudds last win a trophy?

To be 2nd at this stage with two novice half backs having played Wire, Wigan and Leeds we can rightly be happy to date. We all know to win anything this year we are going to have to improve further but we also all know that improvement is well within the team.

Let Eddie gush over Warrington, he's waited 20 years for it, I am quite happy out of the limelight till August/September

As a Leeds fan I've noticed this. Saints going about their business nice and quiet. Good on ya that the way to do it! All I hear is how hudds Wigan and wire are suuuperrrb!!!! and that scum prick banging on about his beloved Wigan! Leeds get written off every week and saints are nicely off the radar!

We are on times in April so that should balance up the appearances.

I think Wire and Hudds are better sides than us at the moment.

Is it the fact that we aren't at KR? We aren't striking an iconic image playing in Widnes, compared to historical GPW Stadium.

Usually, Sky, pre programme the successful teams of last season which is going to be Wigan and Warrington, throwing in the occassional change In fixture.
I don,t mind us playing under the radar, Wigan and Warrington are being hyped up so much at the moment, the supporters and some of the players are absorbed in it.
To a lesser extent so are Huddersfield and Castleford. Probably after the Easter games the super league top 8 sort themselves out.
I reckon we will beat Castleford and Huddersfield and super league will see Saints a strong bet for top 4, which we have proved for 14 out of 15 super league seasons.

In the end the media have to hype up someone, so the safest bet are previous winners. But just like the stock market past performance is not an indication of the future.

I think because of the hype the gap between Wigan / Warrington and the rest has been over estimated. Last year Wigan had moved well ahead and a visable gap was there. But this year we also have Cas and Huddersfield in the mix. Quins are shaping up to be a real challenge and Salford, Catalans and Saints have started to turn around the forum after poor starts to the year.

I think it is going to be very difficult for any team to build up a run of form and if the 2 Hull clubs can start to get their act in gear it will be even more of a challenge.

Leeds are still a threat but seam to have given up on defence a bit like Saints at the start of the year.

I don't think Bradford are challengers but they have certainly improved and will challenge more teams than last year.

Form is going to be up and down for everyone, so 4 wins on the bounce is pretty good despite it not being for the full 80 yet.

I thought Wire looked very much like their old selves last friday - too many forced offloads from rying to score on every play.

They lost a lot of structure in their attack faced with a good defence, Briers is a key player for them, especially as he appears to have become more professional under Smith.

You can't seriously be bothered what the twerps on SKY say, those two change their opinions to suit - they both devalue our game.

I'm not a Saints fan and you do have some of the more arrogant fans in the game. However Saints record is second to none and the style of RL played has been exceptional. A joy to watch even when on the receiving end. Warrington are flavour of the month but are yet to win a SL title, Hudds are yet to win anything and as it happens Cas are SL leaders.

Far to early to count anyone in and certainly Saints out, why even mention let alone worry about it.

Our last few games (victories) have been entertaining affairs.
Hopefully we'll see the same this Friday.
