FIOS with the run of games you have comming up your going to fall down the table even further.It happend to us (wigan ) a few years ago and we got behind the team in great numbers its what makes us such a big club the biggest infact so get behind your team but it wont get any better because you are avarage at best

They have a point though. The Wigan support got behind their team the season they almost got relegated. I'm not sure the St.Helens public would do the same. However, we're far away from being as low as that. I remain conviced that come September/October we'll be featuring in some very big games.

It's a disaster!!! We've lost a couple of games in March narrowly to top 4 teams and are now an insurmountable 2 points off the top of the all-important league table!! We must sack all of our utterly useless players immediately while there's stilll time before the looming catastrophe that is our season becomes completely unsaveable!! We must sign 7 or 8 world class speedy wingers from Blackbrook and Thatto Heath who'll show some pride in the shirt, and replace the coach with Johnny Wellies or any other random tramp we can find to have any even slight chance of avoiding relegation now!!! Yep, all out panic stations. Lost by one point and drew at grounds we hardly ever perform well at, and lost by two in the last seconds against one of the best teams in the league.

Better (on paper) Saints teams have started out FAR worse than this.

It was mentioned above bit the run of fixtures we have coming up we could well end up in a real mess. We're not good enough at the moment to win away from LP against anything bar the weakest teams and it doesn't look likely that we'll beat any of the big sides at the moment. The board could end up in a position where removing Royce is the only option in a month or two.

And we can't be 2 points behind either. We must be at least 5 behind Warrington by now. Haven't they only dropped one point so far?

We're 4 off Wire and 3 off Wigan/Hudds/Leeds/Catalans (assuming Leeds/Catalans win their games in hand).

Not panic stations (especially since we're only a penalty goal in three separate games away from being top of the league) but we certainly need to start finding some form.

It's funny that all the usual knee jerking suspects who had us down for a 40 point shoeing at Hudds are still knee jerking just as hard (if not harder) after another very narrow defeat.

Not only that but there has only been a whisker in the 3 games where we have dropped points. The draw at HKR, beaten by a wonder try after the hooter against Catalan and a 1 point defeat yesterday that could have been a win with the conversion from the touchline and a bizzare kick from Huddersfield that hit both uprights AND the crossbar before going over.

All if's and but's with a single bounce of the ball our way we could well have been on maximum points !

There is no hiding from the fact that we have been below par especially in defence prior to yesterday but we are not as bad as is being painted by some.

So we lose by 1 point to Huddersfield and that equals????????

Depends how you look at it. We were terrible against Salford as well. We've got Hull next week then something like Wire, Leeds and Wigan in a row haven't we? It could look very bad quite quickly if there isn't a significant improvement.

We're just mighty lucky we've not played Warrington or Wigan in this form or they would have put a big score on us. All this talk of keeping calm and it all coming good again is flawed as we're not as good as we were last season. We could easily settle in the position we are this season, it's not like we can argue with being behind the teams we are behind at the moment, apart from possibly Salford.

We need to win our next two games and build up some confidence.

I think we can realistically go into the Wire game with three wins under our belt, which would make the world of difference. It won't be easy, but it's certainly possible.

i think you should stop worrying , didnt you start last season in simular fashion and still end up in the gf , think soon as the pitches dry out the real saints will raise there heads again
