No Kyle Eastmond tonight!

Sean Long once again walks straight back into ourstarting line up when fit despite him being sh*te all season.

Celtic at home would be the perfect game for Kyle to get more game time. So glad im working tonight.

Expect us to go up in 4 pointers rather than 6's tonight (if we score of course).

Longy has actually played quite well this season.

They obviously don't trust Eastmond.

They should have had him on the bench and rested one of the props.

Long had one of his better games tonight, but I would like to see Eastmond on the bench just to give us a different option.

Crusaders tackled well in the second half but we were a bit predictable in attack.

The problem is it's very difficult to justify having a scrum half on the bench. Especially when you consider the fitness demands placed on forwards these days.

But this isn't helping us smooth the transition of Long to Eastmond, if that's where the club intends to go.

I was dissapointed not to see kyle, we need to give him 80 mins at 7.We didnt need 4 forwards on the bench against celtic

Tyrer was not great, that said he is in a poor team marking mat gidley, so what do you expect.

Long was MOM tonight for me. T

Long had a very good game tonight. took on the line well and was probably just shaded out of MOM for me by Roby.

Yeah, same for me. I thought it was pretty close between him and Roby but Long just edged, both played well. Don't think Wellens did much really, didn't notice him a lot anyway. Did what he had to do, but not enough to get MOM.

It looked to me like they were trying out some new moves and angles which is why I think there was a strong side put out tonight.

Wasn't that their reserves rather than their academy? I thought their academy was doing quite well overall?

Lomax didnt play, he was at the College Leavers Dinner i went to. Had a good game in the Reserve game though with a couple of Try's.

I thought Tyrer had a very decent game considering. Tackled well and got stuck in. Can't remember him doing anything wrong and saw do many things very right.

Gidley went past him pretty easily on a fair few occasions (I counted 4 in the first half), but like has already said, Gidley does that to the majority of people he comes up against.

Thats what i was getting at, he let gidley through quite a few times, but who doesnt?
