last couple of games meli has been playing superb..
more than can be said about that clown on the other wing.

I thought Gardner did OK tonight.

As for Meli, been one of our best players all season, if he didn't make the odd mistake (granted, its usually a shocker), he would be a top class winger. However, even with the odd mistake, he is still a very good winger with ball in hand and very often goes close to making a break.

Ade has gone downhill in my opinion.

Meli has been outstanding all year but a lot of saints fans always look for mistakes he's made.

Once again, Meli was outstanding.

Meli was great tonight he has been in fine form all season. All players make mistakes from time to time, it all comes with the game but for me he ranked equal with Wilkin for my man of the match tonight.

Also thought wello was huge for us today in defence.

Meli did say, when he finally came back over, that he would make it up to his team mates and he seems to be doing so.

Meli was absolutely outstanding for you guys. Just unfortunate when he got put in touch and couldn't claim his hatty.

Ade was the one that concerned me, he got no where near the high ball that set up Carmont's stroll in.

TBF to Gardner, the wind was all over the place, was a very good kick, was a very hard kick to take.

Meli; the ultimate paradox? Can win you a game just as easily as lose one.

Meli has had a great season. He has thoroughly removed his scapegoat tag.

Gardner however seems to be trying to take it from it. Still doing well defensively, his decision making on when to snot Sam Tomkins and when to leave it to him to mess up was superb and saved us a few times.

His lack of confidence in dealing with kicks is a major concern however.

Roger was quality tonight.



Hope he does the same next week.

I just hope he hasn't been saving up one of his trademark howlers for OT, because he really deserves some credit for his performances of late; he's been excellent.

Meli, has been our most consistent (and I mean consistently good b4 any smart forum nobs jump in) back this season. Ade Gardner on the other hand has had a shocking (and I mean in a bad way if the previously mentioned nobs chim in) season........

Meli has had a great season. I would have happily seen him stay in oz/nz but he has performed under potter.

Gardener has had a poor year by his recent standards BUT there are plenty of others at saints who have underperformed PRYCE being the stand out for me.

Meli is one who could cause us a problem next week. I thought he was outstanding last night and must have gone close for the MOM.

Longy showed there's life in the old dawg,... Wilkin looks to have psyched himself up for a big one..... and Wellens was back to his old self.

FGB had a quiet one.... perhaps the new pampers were chaffing... and its looking good for a classic at OT.

It'll be interesting to see who, if any, Leeds decide to target with the kicking game? The last couple of years they've had a go nat Meli with a degree of success. But then watching the game last night Gardner was poor under the high ball, granted the conditions weren't the best.

Either way, the kicking game may very well be the deciding factor next week- if Longy brings his kicking boots with him he'll put us on the back foot given the field position. on the flip side of that, if Sinfield et al manage to get it right your wingers could be in for a torris night- as could Scott Donald if Longy gets it right.

All makes for an interesting game next week! Personally, I can't wait!
