I thought these two deserve to be singled out for praise today. Wilkin was given such an important role and could easily have just sat back and allowed Leon to lead, but he stepped up and had a massive influence on us today. His kicking, bar one stray bomb, was exemplary. His defense was also very mean and he continues his stellar form this season. Anyone still not rate him?

And our friend Francis eh? What about that? We all thought he was sat on a deck chair in New Zealand not wanting to return. But he must have spent the past 6 months catching bombs and he returned them with interest today.

Wilkin was superb today, kicked us to death to be honest. And Meli looked alot stronger under the high ball, albeit not under as much pressure as usual.

Both were excellent today.

Jon Wikin is a challenge cup hero, there's no doubting Meli's abilities in big games, its his apparant lack of motivation for the other games that annoys me.

I've said it time and time again. Jon Wilkin needs to be given more responsibility to bring out the best in him. Well done Wilko!!!

I just fear that's the end of the CC this year now with you guys having a stroll to the cup, with Hull out today as well looks even more likely.

I don't think it'll be a stroll but do feel there should be some kind of seeding to stop a big team going out at this stage (other than a giant killing of course).

I`m definately a meli critic but he took the high balls well today.

Had a few heart in mouth moments with his long passing near the line but he was commited and thats all fans want to see.

Wilkin was fantastic. Those 40/20s were outstanding. And who would think that we would have a player who could kick two of them in one match!! I couldn't believe it.

That play in which Meli took a bomb on the move in heavy traffic, cleared 50 metres and then won a penalty was epic.

If we can make him watch that before the grand final (assuming we're there) - watch and repeat, watch and repeat!
