I'm not a big fan of KC the coach and I gave him some stick last year about the standard of rugby he had us playing to the point I didn't go some games (season ticket holder 10yrs) as I was so bored it was unreal. The was no atmosphere due to the boring rubbish rugby we played.

He got us in the semis of the grand final and won something like 12 out of the last 13 games and to be honest we played better rugby so I was prepared to give KC another shot this year and to be fair the Club does owe him some time as he's been great for the club.

This year, he says he's got "his squad". This is the players he wanted and he's got shut of the players he referred to last as letting him down such as Turner, Walsh, Vea, Tasi and Savelio. I agree, those players (maybe not sav) did let the club down and was very very poor. All those players named with exception of sav are shocking in defence.

We've brought in some decent players in Walker, Morgan, smith, taia and Douglas (not the player he was) but we are only two games in. Yes we was shocking last night but it's disgusting fans are calling for his head after just two games! What as the sport come to if we want him sacked afyer two games.

Should Warrington sack Smith as they not won a game yet ? Should Hull sack Radford as only won one game and thst was struggle against Wakey? Widnes sack Betts as not won yet ? Watson at Salford? Stone at hudds?

Let's give him a chance ffs! Let's see where we at mid season

I don't think the majority of fans are seeing two games in though, its his 3rd season now and he is no longer immune from criticism. The pre season, the friendlies, the 2 super league games seem to be exposing that nothing has changed despite the stronger recruitment. At the moment KC is very similar to Betts a legendary player who is given too much time to prove himself as a coach at the expense of the stature of the club.

I don't agree mate. The point I'm making is thst KC says this is his team. This is the players he wanted so he says so let's give him mid season. I'm not a big fan of KC the coach but he's earned his right to at least half the season with this squad.

We do look more balanced squad this year to be fair so let's see how we go. It's 2 games in ffs.

Definitely disagree with the Betts comment. He's done amazing job at widnes. He's took them into super league, he's kept them there and even broke into the top 8 last tine around. Dont forget, thst widnes is still a new club in terms of super league. They are only now seeing the benefits of the u16s and u19s whicn are only aprox 4yrs old. They have had to just pick up players nobody wanted as they didn't have the youth in place to bring players in due to non super league status and the fact they can't afford to pay big fees. I thibk he's done good job.

As Judder man says it is not two games in, it's three seasons in. I was always one to give KC a fair crack of the whip and now he has had it and he has not improved. His handling of Savelio was a disgrace, I personally don't think KC liked the lad, hence the poor treatment. His public criticism of players does nothing for moral and certainly gets no improvement from them. So at last it is now the team KC wants, well it is not the team I would have chosen. This seasons signings are a poor lot and will struggle to improve the team. Having said my piece I hope to be proven wrong and see the boy's in the red v cracking open the Champers again.
