After the last few games I think Flanagan is better than Turner at centre. I would have no problem with Wheeler having a spell at centre.

I don't think he has had a bad game for us, unlike turner, LMS, biff and others; the problem he is he hasn't played enough because of his injuries and when recovered then being out of favour.

If / when he goes it will be another great loss of talent to Saints and is more likely to end up a Matty Smith type success than a Scot Moore type failure.

It's true you can't please everyone all the time.

I'd also point out that teams tend to expose the opposite wing partnership more due to inexperience.

What if Wheeler can't grab a centre spot, should we let him play prop and see if he can get a spot there? He's a 6 and can't be good, but his time has gone. We should now be next year be looking to blood new players at 6 and 7 when the top players are injured.
