We got to the National Final in 2009 also, and the trip cost around £4000, so £1500 is just a small part of the expense!!!

Ahh right, that's a good way of making revenue then. You can also apply for funding through the council and the Youth Opportunity Fund, it's on the council website. We toured South Africa last year and secured £15,000 from the council and £5000 from Merseyside Police. It's worth looking into if you need to raise the extra cash.
