Any news or rumours about who your new coach is likely to be?

There are definitely two new signings this week ,but i'll wait for the Oxford management to announce it.dont want to step on anybody's feet.

Good to see some announcements coming through. This time last year I think there was only one publicly confirmed. Having said that, I do have this vague feeling that announcements get dribbled out in order that there's something to put in the newspaper each week.

The trials are this Sunday - I'm thinking of going along (to watch, I hasten to add). Presumably that's OK?

As i said earlier the two new signings have been announced,( don't know what media site/platform though) they are both GB Armed Forces players backrow/props.And i for one look forward to joining The Blue Army this year and watching my lad in an Oxford shirt.

As someone who also watches Broncos I'm pleased to hear this. Sean has earned the chance of a crack at the full time game. Obviously in the short run it's rough for ORL on the pitch but, taking a long term view, proving the club can be a realistic stepping stone into full time RL should be good news.

Good luck Sean, go and prove Tony Rea wrong......

University of Gloucestershire All Golds said that they had three signings lined up and have so far announced one. I suspect one of the other two will be a name we recognise.

Ashley Browne certainly stood out at the trial (before the kick-off as well as during the action). Kashley Watkins is the older brother of Kallum, whilst Ben Jones-Bishop has a league-playing brother called Aaron so I imagine that's him.


The squad list also implies some departures but I'll leave that for club announcements.

Tommy Connick played in the Capital Challenge today for London Skolars - not sure if he has signed for them or it was a one-off.

Also Mike Benson started the game and Dave Ellison was on the bench. No sign of Michael Crabtree.

Hope I'm wrong but I fear Tommy has gone. I'm sure he's have been one of the first names we tried to re-sign. The lack of an announcement spoke volumes even before this news. Good luck to him, a good player. Likewise Dave Ellison, sadly with the club cutting cloth financially his injury record last season would have counted against him. Hope he has an injury free season wherever he plays. His ability to do a 60 minute shift makes a fit Dave Ellison a huge asset. Skolars look to be building a decent team for 2015.

Missed this one at the time but Gloucestershire confirmed Callum Mulkeen has signed for 2015 on 9th January. Another team who seem to be kicking on in terms of their squad.

Jordan Rice has returned north and is trialling with York City Knights.

Unfortunately with little or no work prospects in the UK, Jamie accepted an offer from Sawtell to play in NSW with a job attached.The Oxford management and coaching staff have been extremely understanding and the "door"is definitely not shut if thing go belly up
