Adrian was asked where he saw the club in five years.
"I couldn't tell you as I don't know the RFL's five year plan for League 1 and rugby league in the south. I hope it's progressive and that Oxford fits into it and contributes as positively as it has done over the last five years."
As a southern RL veteran of approaching 25 years I have to say I can't agree. The RFL's plan for southern RL is the same as ever. Make it up as you go along, waste money on idiotic schemes (3G pitch in South London now only used for football anyone) whilst starving crucial areas of investment and removing development officers. All with the odd U turn thrown in to keep us on our toes.
I don't envy Adrian trying to work within that framework.

Just read the article. Apart from the obvious concern over the last couple of sentences it's a surprisingly upbeat piece about Oxford. Particularly surprising considering who it was interviewing Adrian.
