From the RFL website:
Oxford RLFC v Hemel Stags
Sunday 5th March
Tilsley Park
KO : 14:00
Referee: S Race
Touch Judges: E McCarthy J Stearne
Reserve Referee: T Gibbs
M Com: D Hayes
Referee: Steve Race (Wakefield)
Previous Oxford game:
05/06/2016 - Oxford 24 Hemel 18 (penalties 7-5 in favour)
That Hemel game last year may have been his first at this level, but he obviously enjoyed it enough to demand to get the equivalent fixture this time. He was the 2015 National Conference League Referee of the Year.
Touch Judge: Ellis McCarthy (Castleford & Featherstone)
First Oxford game. Studying Performance at university - this must be a practical lesson:
Touch Judge: Joe Stearne (Castleford & Featherstone)
A regular visitor, the last being as touch judge for the Coventry away game in the League 1 Shield last year. Another active touch judge by the look of things:
Reserve Referee: Tommy Gibbs (Wakefield)
First Oxford game. Plays for Featherstone Lions (probably at age group level).
Match Commissioner: Darren Hayes (South West)
A regular visitor because although he is originally from Widnes, he now lives in Royal Wootton Bassett. Is also a Conference League South referee. Once refereed the West of England conference final with his two sons as the touch judges. Will probably be taking a close look at the Tilsley Park pitch markings.
