Have to say as long as Tim is around I doubt we'll end up bottom. They also say we need to find more fans. Difficult to disagree with that one.

Well given Hemel's plan to alienate all of there's, I think we're safe on that score.

We get written off every year so it's nice to know nothing's changed. We've got a tight squad this year which has the capability to do well.

I don't think it's an unreasonable prediction from the outside. At this stage, though, I would say we have recruited reasonably well. Two big questions as always are whether all of those players will still be at the club in a few weeks time, and also whether they gel as a team. Assuming only average answers to those, I'd still expect to finish above South Wales. With good answers, Hemel and All Golds will also be behind us.

Still, this is the same magazine who don't know what a snakes and ladders board looks like (see January's front cover) so I'm taking no lessons from them on any topic.

Tim"s track record of pulling one or two gems out of amateur / academy each year makes makes me suspect we won't finish bottom under him. I'd agree we'll be much nearer the bottom than the top.

This season will be an odd one. Hemel, well who knows? South Wales seem to be in last chance saloon looking in from the outside so may go for it a bit. Rumours all isn't well behind the scenes at All Golds make them difficult to predict. If all is well I expect to finish behind them - I suspect they snaffled a few players we fancied - but if all isn't well all bets are off. I can't see all three finishing ahead of us but our lowest finish to date is possible.
