London Broncos Under-19s v Oxford
Lots of changes since the provisional list last week
Referee: Matt Rossleigh (Southern)
This is his first time refereeing Oxford, although we have seen him as touch judge on many occasions recently. He has however refereed Oxford Cavaliers before. He’s an Australian, but a bit of a globetrotter so will probably be the only person at the game with a suntan. But he won’t have got that the day before our game, as he is refereeing the London Skolars game against Wigan at the HAC. In fact it’s the same touch judges as well, so they should be working well as a team by the time Saturday lunchtime comes round
Touch Judge: Joe Turner (Castleford and Featherstone)
Was reserve referee for the League 1 Shield game between Oxford and Gloucestershire All Golds last season. 2015 young referee of the year in the Castleford society. Front row, second from left.
Touch Judge: Arron Gill (Huddersfield)
No known Oxford games. Was a touch judge in last year’s BARLA cup final.
Obviously the game at noon is the main event but anyone staying for the Yowies match can see the following:
