Very underwhelmed by Daft Punk's Random Access Memories after all the hype. Can only name the Get Lucky single as a standout and that's because it's been played a million times on the radio. First album great, second album very good but after that they went completely off the boil with Human After All. Random Access Memories hasn't done anything to change that.

Disclosure's "Settle" is outstanding

He's from Yorkshire, its how we say it.

I prefer S&D. Just.

Toro Y Moi the first 3 tracks are addictive as hell, it does tale off but its worth it just for those 3 alone

Settle by Disclosure is pure class

New Alter Bridge album out in a coupe of weeks, really excited about it.

Bosnian Rainbow - Bosnian Rainbow

Impressed by Filthy Empire by Heavens Basement.

Forest Swords - Engravings. Very nice.

A Feast of Consequences - Fish. Contains a superb suite of 5 tracks relating to a battle in WW1 for a strategic point called High Wood. Lyrically stunning and thought-provoking.

Foals - holy fire ...get better and better this band in my book.

Gotta agree with you here, not particularly keen on Foals but the last album for me is a real goody!

Manics-Rewind the film. Completely underwhelmed after the first listen. Will really need to be 'in the mood' to give this one another go.
Pearl Jam-Lightning bolt. Great album. 'Sirens' is an instant classic.

For me The Strokes is the best.

Torn a bit this year. The stand out would have to be Chvrches album. Fantastic debut considering they produced it themselves and are getting pretty big in America off the back of it.

Also a cracking album came out on monday from TOY, dirty psychadelic rock. Also wasn't their best but I enjoyed Paramore's new offering. Losing two influencial members of the band they've moved away from the pop rock they're accustomed to, to something a little more mainstream with electronic elements thrown in.
