My favourite Indian was in Bradford actually, the Karachi. Top little place! Unlicensed but some people prefer that..

Reds was an experience, top food and good atmosphere, the smell when you walk in is great. Me and my significant other went in around 7pm on a Wednesday night and sat down straight away. I would consider going on a Friday/Saturday but would have to eat earlier.

Havent been to Fazenda yet, next on the list. Gutted the Argentinian steakhouse on The Calls has gone now, used to be outstanding.

Friends of Ham is also delightful!

Livebait was one of my all time favorite restaurants but sadly it's now gone the way of many an eatery and is no more.

Loch Fyne is ok but not as good as Livebait was.

This afternoon I thought I'd try something different for a change than a sandwich for my dinner so ventured into Viet Thai Restaurant on Bradford road. I highly recommend the place for Thai food. The highlight for me was giant spring rolls with sweet sauce - a delight!

If your ever down in Lincoln. Ocean (Cantonese restaurant ) is worth a visit.

Slightly off topic, but cafe rain in pudsey do good cake, one of the nicer Victoria sandwich cake I have had.

And also had cake from a cafe in adel today. Popped into adel buchers for my lovely warm sandwich and found a good cake shop next door. Millionaire slice. Was very nice

Cafe Rain is just around the corner from where I work, still never been in. Will have to try it.

The coffee was nice as was the cake and the menu looked nice as well. I only went in last Sunday as nowhere else was open while pushing the kids around trying to get them to sleep!

That's the one and easily accessible for prams too as two mums were eating in there today. I got a take out though and had green tea on the house whilst waiting

Might not fit the double pram in. You would be supprised how many places I cannot actually get into nowadays. I was thinking of going and getting takeaway while at work by myself anyway!

I'd have placed Loch Fyne way above Livebait.
I fell out with Livebait years ago (in Manchester I think) over what should have been a trivial issue, when I asked what they had put on the chips and they argued back and tried to say they hadn't put anything on them ... they were dusted with some sort of dry spicy powder, maybe paprika-based, feckin' awful on chips and not what you want with a delicate white fish.
If they'd been a bit more customer-aware, I might have gone again but as there are plenty of other places around I didn't bother.

Away from restaurants, i advise trying Tasty! sandwiches in Headingley. Top sarnies, chips and they do chocolate brownies that are brilliant.

I've found some great Indian restaurants around here.

I highly recommend the Everyman Cinemas in Leeds for food because I had a lovely ham and pineapple pizza in there last night. You can either eat it in the Restaurant or take it into the cinema itself. You get sofas instead of chairs to watch films plus you get pillows too
