The tackle that put JP out for the season I assume was when Westerman wrapped his leg round JP`s that caused the injury.
Was that the same "technique" that put Kylie out when we played Crusaders ?
I am not for one minute blaming anyone.

He didn't wrap IIRC - as he made the tackle he slid down and his legs went into the side of JPs knee causing it to buckle underneath him. More of an NFL style "chop block" that anything else.

terrible - for any player to miss a show piece final is bad, for a servant to the game like JP to miss out is tragic.

Hopefully his rehab will be completed without any set backs - one thing can be guaranteed it will not be for the lack of effort.

One of SLs best forwards and a player who is certainly on par with Moz.
Moz, JP and Graham are GBs outstanding props for me.

I wouldn't normally support resting players before a Cup Final, but given the injuries we've got, I would look at resting Senior if Watkins is fit and McGuire as well. Lets be honest, the best we can do is 4th, and 5th isn't much worse - its an uphill struggle to qualify for the GF either way.

As for the forwards, Bailey just needs to keep playing the way he has in recent weeks. Its up to the likes of Eastwood and Leuluai to play as well as they can. Leuluai was poor in the semi, and with Peacock out we'll lose a lot of minutes of graft, meaning Leuluai needs to both play better and longer than usual if possible.

If Ambler is to have any chance of a game he has to play against Les Cats as well. Whilst I'd rest some players, Eastwood and Lautiti probably need game time.

Agree Brisbane. Kylie, Eastwood and Lauitiiti all ned the match fitness. Would Give Ambler and Pitts a run, possibly Watkins as well. Rest Hall and put Scotty back on the left?
