The transition period has started for us now, and as much as alot of our fans think this is the end of Saints as we know them, I think it's an exciting time to see how we're going to evolve as a club.

Personally I think at the start of the season a lot of the English rugby league players within the Rhinos team had a world cup hang over that climaxed in the WCC lost to Manly Sea Eagles. Like you said we’ve been offered no contests but Saints have been in the same boat as Leeds this year and don’t manage to dish as many points as us.

The big difference between Saints and Leeds is Huddersfield. I feel it’ll always be a contest between Leeds and Saints for years in the regular rounds and challenge cup because of the history we’ve both built up between ourselves in the pass few years especially. But Saints as I’m sure many will agree are a team that’s going down as proven by the challenge cup lost to Huddersfield.

If anything I’m basing it on the league table that effectively at the moment is going Leeds way.

Well, until your trouncing of Cas, we had scored the most points in the league. But we'll never catch up now because you have also trounced the Crusaders! Still, we've nicked the top spot off you at least twice in our four year stint at the top. I guess what goes around comes around if you do the same to us this season.




I think that is what 'many' will hope for! I'm not sure that is what has happened though. We're down at present and no Saints fan knows the reason for that. But I'm not sure our present down is a permanent thing. Only time will tell, I guess.
