In a strange way, it's actually improved his game a little IMO.

The lack of flexibility and the difficulty it causes him passing to one side means he takes off out of dummy half more often, either to run himself or take a couple of steps and get closer to first receiver before passing. This holds the marker defenders and creates more time for the likes of Long and Pryce on the ball.
