The mans bad news and has been involved with trouble before. It won’t surprise me if he gets involved with trouble again whilst playing rugby league. Next where going to have the likes of Adrian Mutu and Mark Bosnich flocking to our great game if one can get in!

If financially viable for them this makes so much sense for the Crusaders its' untrue. regardless of whether he can or does play its' exactly what the fledgling club needs.

Gavin Henson in Super League ?

Is that because of the Charlotte Church connection though.Too much of a poseur with his fake tan he puts on before matches to be taken seriously in SL.Always injured as well.

Do you not think the Crusaders profile and crods could use a signing like this?

If he did play for them he would attract crowds to all crusaders games, home & away. 10 x Higher profile than anyone whos ever played in SL or maybe even RL.

He's not as soft as many people think he is, and would be a cracking stand off given a couple of years to adjust IMO. That said I would love to see him run straight at Kylie/ Makali Aizue or any other the other 'shot' merchants.

Providing he's half decent and not going to look a fool playing the game then yes.

I'm not sure how many people have called him soft but "soft" players don't make it in Welsh rugby.

He's not good enough to play League although he is a very good kicker

How can you say he's not good enough to play Rugby League?, I personally believe he would make a cracking Half Back or Centre, He is a very good tackler, has the ball handling skills and a great boot on him injuries apart he would make a definite Super League player IMO and i'd love to see him come to Rugby League and as said earlier it would get good publicity for the Sport...

As a Wales and Ospreys supporter I can say, in my opinion, that he doesn't have the speed, fitness or upper body strength to play in super league. Also in the last season, and internationals, his positional sense seems to have dissapeared. He is an OK tackler by Union standards and I also don't think that that would be good enough for a super league centre. And I don't know how you have come to the conclusion that he would make a cracking half back as his performances at ten are dire at best. If Super League wants a quality Welsh back it would then Lee Byrne or Jamie Roberts are the best options.

I havent really seen him play since Rugby Union bores the hell out of me, but as far as im concerned I dont really care if he makes Paul Sykes look like an amazing centre in comparison, the signing of Henson would be massive for Celtic just for PR reasons.
