American Psycho is pretty much my best film of all time ever. The book was 347 times better though. So good that book. No one is borrowing that off me. No one.

Sarah Connor Chronicles Series 2 currently airing in US, and it's pretty good. Looks like they've had a bigger budget and storyline has plenty of decent twists to keep up the weekly suspense.

Like Terminator 3 they should have just left it at Judgement day. There really gonna overdo the series, if not already. I'm a big fan of the first 2 and I'm not keen on the sound of the new film in the war. I wanna see a terminator chasing John or Sarah Connor around, and Arnie but sadly that won't be happenning anymore

What I don't get about sequels is that why don't they ever try and make them better than the one before. Isn't that meant to be the whole point. I mean how many films are actually better then there originals?? Can't see there being many

Some files were meant to have sequels – Back to the future, the Matrix and some films were most defiantly not – Highlander.

Highlander has a finite plot, there is a definite and ultimate ending and TBH a pretty decent film. So to produce not one but two sequels was just ‘trying to milk a cash-cow’.

Highlander 2 & 3 have to be the worst sequels of all time. FACT.

Worst sequals have to be the Dusk til dawn sequels.

The original was a cracking film!! the others were total Pants!!!

Films = big money, especailly big hitters at the box office.
If a film is huge, there are in a lot of cases sequels, because they know whatever they churn out people will come flocking again and again and again.

But some actors don't do sequels, see Denzel 'The Man' Washington.
He is always superb and IIRC he hasn't been in a sequel.
(Training Day, Man on Fire, Manchurian Candidate, Deja vu, Inside Man, American Gangster, Bone Collector, Malcolm X, Hurricane.....to name a few

TBH though Denzel really hasn't done a film where they could possibly make a sequel. Only one I could think of is Training Day which would have a new setting, different actors and would more then likely go straight to dvd

Think the worse sequels have to be either Nightmare on Elm Street or the Matrix

Since I thought the first was a pile of pretentious un-original drivel, my expectations for the next too were so low I wasn't disapointed by them!
