Howson is so frustrating! 3 superb finishes yesterday, when he's got his eye in he's a top top player at this level. Great range of passing, shoots with both feet and can get up and down a bit. A player with his talent should be getting hold of games by the scruff of the neck and dominating. But so often he is a passenger in a game as Bang etc keep going on about. Perhaps having Faye and Kilkenny next to him yesterday allowed him the freedom to get forward and the freedom to get involved abit more.
He is probably the most technically gifted player at the club IMO, Grayson just needs to get him on the ball more often.

i think you hit the nail on the head when you said faye and kilkenny gave him the freedom to attack. he is at his best when making those runs into the box

Its the division we're in only a couple of the teams at the top and a couple at the bottom have it any different. The trick is to be as consistent as you can, but its what makes the leage so entertaining. Most people in my office support teams from the championship, and over the last 3 years I have seen so much banter as in general any team can beat any other, and few teams can get on a run. Realistically we were never going to be top 2, but our form so far this season is roughly in line with a team chasing the play offs. that'll do for me
