Went to the Asda last night. Will not be going again before Christmas. Just ridiculous. People were stopping, chatting, laughing, shopping, clogging up isles left, right and centre. Don't they know I like to be in and out within 5 minutes. Selfish gits.

My pet hate (which is dramatically heightened at this time of year) is people who just stop at the top of escalators and have a lengthy discussion about which way to turn. Clearly they are oblivious to the fact that the escalator (which they've just stepped off!!!) is STILL MOVING thus piling me into the back of them. Which then in turn sends somebody into the back of me Usually a snotty nosed kid or a pushchair [i[which as a side issue, it clearly states you're not allowed to take on escalators in the first place!![/i. You have the whole escalator journey to discuss which way you want to go at the top. Please use this time wisely.

Gods honest truth... I once got stuck behind a mother/adult daughter combo who GENUINELY had this conversation right at the very top to the escalator...

Mum - "Shall we go to Veg first or do you want to pick up those tights?"
Daughter - "Erm... well the party isn't while 3 weeks next Tuesday so I can always get the tights another time!"
Mum - "Don't forget you're at your Uncle Peter's next weekend though!"
Daughter - "Oh yeah, that's a good point. I might be able to get some tights from that shop near him."
Mum - "Which Shop?"
Daughter - "You know, that one that Sandra used to get her tights from!?"
Mum - "Oh yeah... How is Sandra?"
Daughter - "She's OK. Well, I say OK, she's actually split up with Pete..."

I never found out whether they went to the Veg isle first. I'm genuinely amazed that women ever get anything done in any reasonable length of time. I can do the "Big Shop" from starting the car at home, to sat down with a cuppa with the shop put away in sub 45 mins.

Had a great day today.

Two Sausage Rolls and an Ice finger from Greggs for breakfast. Then I made my way into town to buy myself some new tops and slacks. Got a bargain with two Harlan Coben novels for £1.99. Got the dog like four toys for a fiver (might have had some change out of that). Got my Dad a big mug and when I gave it to him he said ‘we don’t need another big mug in this house son, we already have you’.

Afternoon lunch I had a sandwich and a butterfly bun from the sandwich shop. This evening I had a takeaway - chicken tika korma.

To top it all off I had two ciders at aroudn £5 a pop

If I was a millionaire like Alan Sugar I’d go for Stuart for the laughs. But if I wanted to make more millions then I’d go for Stella or Chris because they’ve seem to of shone in the money making department. Then again so did Liz when it came to breaking that record.

And because Liz went in the last boardroom showdown, I think that Stuart will win. He’ll no doubt come up with a lot of barmy ideas!
