Agree with the discipline, it is complete shambles. Had bad feeling going into this one, Wigan have been playing well for good while now. Where as were patchy.

Dont think Ratu is upto SL standard neither.

Fair play to Wigan..on the day deserved winners.

Wigan played tonight at play-off intensity and we couldnt match them. Many key players in fact most of them looked flat.

I honestly dont think the 2 hooker play works for us. We dont have the right personell for it.

When Buderus gets substituted we dont adjust well and the game goes off the boil.

Lets hope the injury isnt serious though it looked bad and we can sort out our intensity.

For the first time since the introduction of RL on Sky I turned the game off with 10 mins to go in disgust at the second half performance of Leeds. Wigan were magnificent and showed how to play the game, whilst Leeds looked like a poor collection of individuals.

So who is responsible for this shambolic performance? Well the players have to take their fair share of the blame, with only Buderus coming out of tonight with any real credit. He's by far our best player and sadly it looks like he might have picked up a serious injury. We are simply not the same outfit (I don't feel I want to use the word team) without him on the pitch.

Having said that about the players what about the Coach. A coach has the biggest impact in the pre match speech and at half time, just what did McClennan say to the Leeds players at half time??? We were already on the slide during the latter stages of the first half, but the second half was appauling.

During the whole game Leeds completion rate was terrible for a "top" team, and our discipline was woeful. All this months after it was identified as a priority "fix" by our esteemed coach.

IMHO we have been papering over the cracks in recent weeks by scraping home in games which we should have won in much more comfortable fashion.

If coaches judge their success on performance rather than results then our current incumbent must be waiting for his P45 after a season full of disappointment.

It will be interesting to see if he is "rewarded" with a contract extension going into the final year of his current deal...

Batley: quit moaning - you want to be in our shoes! We had just the same last week - clawed our way back to being ahead, only to throw it away against Wigan in the last 8 mins. Indeed, puts our performance last week into a rather better context than it appeared at the time. You are just making yourself look daft in front of people like us who have REAL reasons to be thoroughly hacked-off!

Mate, if I were a Bulls fan, I'd have been swinging from the bannister with a sheet around my neck long before now. You have my deepest sympathy.

I guess that being fortunate enough to have witnessed such a great period in the clubs history, you get lulled into believing (there's that word again) that the players and coach should be capable of putting in a good performance most weeks and then a great one every now and again. The truth is we have been average to poor most weeks this year, but fortunately the opposition have frequently been worse.

Think everyone knows not many games have been won comfortably / convincing. Discipline is a huge problem this season, fair point to pin the blame onto the coach on this one?

I'm well teed off with the eventual score line, but lets remember a cracking first half, in which I thought we played some quality rugby.

Fair play to Wigan, I just hope someone has a recording of what Noble said to them at half time, and posts a copy to Bluey.

Thought Wigan took care of Senior very well. Everytime he got the ball 3 or 4 Wigan players onto him striaght away. This obviously meant Hall wasnt gonna get as much ball as in previous games.

Wigan Leeds games are always 50 / 50 IMO. No-body expexted us to put 50 on them last time out @ the JJB.

Yes, that's probably the quietest game for Keef in a while, and as you say completely nullified our left side. Once again Nobby has tactically got it right.

Chill, whilst I agree with what you say about the coach it was 2 league points. Wigan have beaten us at this stage before now and been dispatched when the playoffs come.

Having said that if grinning slaphead doesn't sort out the discipline I will happily help you throw him under the bus.
