Agreed, and if I were coaching them I’d want to have a right go at them for it, but this lot are so mentally weak they would take weeks to recover from it.

There are very few players in this squad who are over the age of 24 that should still be here this time next year…

Well it was some night of Rugby League thats for sure. 18s game was incredible and 1st team even more so.

Cant believe i turned round to look at the clock with less than 3mins to go, 10pts up, smiling at the missus, thinking we’d actually done it. Gutted.

It was a muched improved performance against a good Huddersfield side, Id say we deserved the win but no team lettimg 10 points in in 3 minutes deserves s win, the draw was probably s fair result.

And i stand by my point, it was a very good hame to watch, we doo need to stop giving 6 agains away they’re so frustrating (i think its a horrible rule anyway)

I enjoyed game too, Christopher. I've come away feeling strangely positive, possibly because I expected a loss. Regarding the 6 agains, I thought some of those calls were mystifying... for both sides. Let's hope these are the first signs of an upward trajectory.

The 1st Huddersfield try of the late comeback was fortunate. I think it was Bentley who got a hand to stop a Huddersfield pass and the loose ball popped up for them. But with 90 seconds to go from the restart we just had to contain them at there end of the field and gave a stupid penalty away for a tip tackle on the 1st tackle. Terrible discipline.
An improved performance though, an enjoyable game, and it's not often I've said that this season.

I don’t know if it was Smith or Tetevano to blame for the tip tackle on tackle 1 but they are 2

A ton of effort but it shows a self destructive, negative mindset to lose as did.

I came away more depressed than I went despite the improvement. If you can’t close that you will barely ever win.

A much better effort - showed spirit and played as a team - JJB deserves some credit , as he has already taken a lot of stick in the short time in charge.
2 ends of the spectrum , our experienced marquee player kicks the ball straight into touch at the most crucial time in the game / our young winger`s defence for the last 2 Hudds tries was diabolical ( watch the look Austin gives him on the second one ).

It's the hope that kills you. Bags of effort. Short on brains and execution. Thought the pack did really well. Myler, Fusitua, Newman and a fit Sezer will make a huge difference, but when, if ever, will they all be on the pitch? Great game though.

Oledski was the best forward on the pitch tonight IMO

It sure did. Pretty much the only way we could have not won was giving away a penalty in that last set.

I think listening to JJBs presser Jack Broadbent will sign elsewhere, think the club see Simpson as the future first team centre.

Pack were really good tonight but the back line let us down a bit. Much much better though but I’m fuming we didn’t win that.

What’s the damage with Walker? Praying it’s not a bad one, thought he did well tonight.. that back line needs some surgery though bud appreciate no Myler Newman or Fusi

Well done leeds- you had our number tonight. Worst game we’ve played this season and that’s down to how you decided the game was going to be played.
We didn’t really deserve a point, I thought we were the poorer side, but the number of times we’ve snatched defeat from the jaws of victory- I will take it!
Our forwards just thought they could turn up and were out manoeuvred in the middle today. You had fages pretty much wrapped up-and ran at him constantly - and targeting him when he kicked, perhaps just about on the right side of timing most of the time- but not once did he actually stay on his feet after the ball left his feet tonight which I thought was a little dirty- especially as we are supposed to be protecting these players.
We can’t afford to play that badly again in the next few weeks!
