Yes, the day the games are played can have a big impact on attendance. Leigh will get plenty of air time from SKY this year so i expect there will be plenty of Thursday / friday nights that will have an impact on whether people can make it on a regular basis. Leigh will need to make LSV a fortress this year to avoid middle 8's... good luck for the season, this weekend aside of course

I really dont think £25- £30 for an adult seat ticket at any ground is bad, we all no football charge massively more and get full stadiums, time Rl fans in so called heartland areas started putting up or shutting up, Leigh in super league should be house full signs every week, in fact every club should have a waiting list for season tickets as average ground side is only about 10-12k

£21 is for a restricted view or in the corner. A good seat in the cop end is more than £25 plus Leeds united are second tier team not premier league, bet it they get promoted prices will rocket. It's £40 behind posts at old Trafford and Man U not the most expensive club either.

You've got all precious and missed the point. Most away fans want to stand, and they want the cheapest option available. A massive majority of away fans at Headingley do chose the cheapest option, available at £20. Your cheapest option is the most expensive for away fans in Superleague, and it is because of who we are. Make no mistake, a large number of RL fans feel they are being exploited. Away games on Monday, Thursday nights over the other side of the biggest traffic jam in England, games being switched at short notice, and now a couple of quid on top because we're Leeds. I have SKY because I like watching the RL, and for the first time I can remember I will choose to watch on TV because it's not worth £25 apiece for me and the missus on top of the fuel and being sat on the M62 for at least a couple of hours. Leigh may have a financial plan that involves ripping off away fans, but it's not one I subscribe to. I think it's a dangerous road to go down when the crowds have been falling so much in Superleague. Hull raised their prices a couple of years back and away fans just stopped attending, they quickly had a rethink. You may have a few first timers wanting to cross Leigh off the list, but when they've done it a few won't bother next season at those prices.

There will not be hordes of Chinese or Indians to fill our seats at £40 if we jack the prices up. Football has a whole new demographic watching games live nowadays, it's not one that will fill empty seats at Headingley if you started pricing people out.

So Leigh offer the same as Hull,Wigan,Widnes,Hudds, ie an end on view under cover in a seat , just because Leeds have an old stadium offering uncovered standing with an inferior view isn't the equivalent , the equivalent at Headingley IS the Carnegie stand , that is £ 28.50

Leigh charging £25 + Leigh offering FREE stadium parking for over 1000 cars , and on top Leeds CEO proposing for and now obtaining £6.25 of it off every Leeds fan sounds like a great deal for their club in comparison. I don't really understand all their moaning.

All the parking around Headingley is free as far as I know - I have being going since 1968 and I have never paid to park near the ground

Not that I think he will play, but how in the hell did Walters "earn" his selection in the squad. He has been garbage preseason, and a sub at Featherston where fans also lable him poor. Is this not more a case of he is liked by the coach, rather than "earned" as the PR release states.

That bench would look very light, I'm I'd swap keinhorst for Ormondroyd. Would've had Baldwinson in myself, didn't do anything wrong in very limited game time.

He didn't and what Mac expects from him in a 5 minute spell i don't know.This also seems to say he didn't do enough to warrant another go in the 19 during that cameo. Strange. Can't see what Mullally offers TBH just seems another useless big soft lump like Kirke and a waste of a bench spot.

In the nicest possible way let`s hope Baldwinson is carrying a knock or is unwell.
If the guy has been dropped from the 19 and replaced by Walters of all people then it is nothing but a disgrace.
I was under the impression he did not make the Fev squad either..

Mullally = very ordinary and not Super league standard

Kirke = very reliable , trusted by more than one coach and by his team mates and multiple trophy winner

He didn't get picked for Featherstone for their last game against Oldham,but that was on the Sunday so would have meant 2 games in 4 days.

Don't know if he's been picked for their game against Batley this Sunday.

Mullaly is an OK squad man, but I think we have seen his ceiling so to speak. If Baldwinson and the coach want him to progress then by the end of this year he needs to have put himself ahead of Mullaly in the pecking order. (He is only 22, but if we take Singo as an example he was a bench regular by 23).

I also don't mind Walters, he won't win you a game, gf right place right time notwithstanding

but he won't lose it either. At least Mac trusts him enough to give him minutes).
