I think if you look at the final league table you will see we finished 8th, thus making the play-offs.



We did everything within the rules and laws of the game.....we played and were beaten by Bradford twice with our squad that we could afford against their squad that they couldn't. Had they have been playing with a squad they could afford then we would probably have beaten them twice......they broke the rules and paid the penalty....we stuck to them and deservedly finished 8th.....

Really looking forward to the game on Saturday.....the arrogance of some Leeds fans is great.....to be fair though you've earned that with your record over the years in big games.....



I just feel some are getting a little carried away here though and thinking it will be easier than it actually will......in our 2 league games this year we've scored 78 points against you....winning one convincingly and getting beat in the other......one crucial thing you could point to is the Challenge Cup game (a game that did really matter) in that you beat us in the end by a comfortable margin but the game was a lot closer for long periods than that final scoreline suggested......you can add on to that we're a far, far better team playing with much more confidence now (on the back of 7 straight wins) than when we were back then and I'm not sure you could say the same about Leeds.....

Through the years of Leeds dominance (in winning GF's) nobody can knock those efforts, they've been a top quality side......I genuinely think though this is the weakest Leeds team for quite a while, one in kind of like a transitional period with a lot of the older experienced players coming to the end while a lot of the younger future star players not quite with the experience of the big games yet....

Leeds are obviously worthy favourites....but I wouldn't rule out a shock at all....beware a team full of confidence with no pressure on them!

It's a shame it doesn't always work that way or leeds would be champions in 2005

Leeds easy route to the GF ... Not have BMD as coach

It still amazes me that people (fans from other teams in particular) take anything Bill, Keith or AP puts on here seriously

Step 1: Beat Wakefield at home (most in form team in the SL).
Step 2: Beat most likely Catalans away (only lost in Perpignan once this year).
Step 3: Beat most likely Wigan away (League Leaders who have put you to the sword a couple of times this year)
Step 4: Beat most likely Warrington at OT (CC winners).

Couldn't be much of a harder run in to be fair! I think Hull have got it better in 6th to be honest - Hudds (h), Saints (a), Wigan (a), Wire (OT)

Not acceptable at all, and I know it was a meaningless fixture but would still like to go into the play offs with some form.
Sadly with a visit to wembley papering over what has been a poor season vus far I can't see too many changes, and can only see another drop next year. Yes we won a WCC and played very well against a team not at full fitness, but from the Leeds games I have.been to this year we have been poor and not very entertaining. Cannot see us getting to Old Trafford at all this year

Judging by their results on the field Bradford were the 7th best team this season, Huddersfield 8th and Wakefield 9th.

The 5th placed team at home to the 9th placed team in week one of the play-offs is a nonsense and should be a non-contest.

Yet another predictably inept, couldn't-give-a-toss, regular season performance from the rhinos in a fixture that doesn't matter and counts for very little - the rhinos always safe in the knowledge that whatever regular season bilge they serve up (and they do for the vast majority of the 27 rounds), they are still guaranteed a play-off place and a decent shot at the SL title.

There's been mention of showing disrespect to other SL clubs. When the day arrives that a team like Leeds cannot get away with tossing it off throughout the regular season collecting enough easy points along the way against whipping boy SL rabble and ensuring a guaranteed play-off place, that will be the day I shall start showing some respect to all those whipping boy SL rabble clubs.

Next week's game against the Wakey SL rabble actually counts for something and matters, therefore there will be only one result - a Leeds win. The next two weeks are merely an exercise in eliminating all those rabble SL teams (Catalan, Hull, Hudds and Wakey) who are just making up the ridiculous play-off numbers.

It will be nonsense and a non-contest next week. Either Leeds win comfortably, or, if we factor in the likelihood of Leeds playing poorly, they'll still win something like 44-40. Scorelines such as that are also non-contests IMO.

Never said anything was incorrect, just the sheer joy you get from negative things and winding people up and referring to to guys who actually go out there and play the game as ''whipping boys'' is a heavy mixture of pathetic and tragic.
