Same as I did probably. Go through a boatload of paper and pens and spend an age scribbling and cross-checking.
These days I use nothing more sophisticated than Excel '97. I have no real knowledge of the programme and basically anybody with a computer and a couple of hours to spare each week (with a bit of discipline and attention to detail) could do the same, ongoing.
The difficultly is filling in the gaps.
I'm only amazed that a club the size of Leeds doesn't have this type of info on-line.

TVOC they should pay YOU to put YOUR stats on the website!
Don't sell yourself short and if anyone from the club is reading this, I suspect you should stick your hands in your pocket and get a great stats service... from TVOC!

Behave Gary, you couldn't afford me.
Leeds RLFC will have access to the same info I have collected and collated since the loss of Ken Dalby and the demise of his Headingley Stories.
They wouldn't need me if they decided to publish but it's still a shame that they don't (publish that is.)

Besides which, I do publish.... you're reading it and that makes at least two of us.

Good old Kev is way out in front, as you would expect!
Am I correct in assuming that a small fat Welsh bloke is at number 2 in that list?

Quite so.
Iestyn Harris - Pl 131+ 8 + 1(NPS), Tries 65, Goals 594, Drop Goals 7, Points 1,455
Had he stayed..... (and presumably inherited a high percentage of Sinfield's goals) he'd probably now be looking down on everyone in the all time points list at Leeds, including the legend that is Lewis Jones.

| On the subject of records, I wonder if TVOC or anyone else can confirm whether Scott Donald is now closing in on the club's all-time record for consecutive appearances.....
I believe centre/winger Carl Gibson set the record with 91 games in a row between 1988 and 1990 - Scotty will play his 86th consecutively at Harlequins this week.
I'm sure no one has surpassed that figure in the interim 18 years.
The all-time record is a phenomenal 239 consecutive games for Widnes by hooker Keith Elwell between 1977-82.

I think the figure was 179 not 178 - between 1998 and 2003.

I agree with the 179 consecutive appearances for Francis Cummins.
Carl Gibson's 91 were all consecutive starts (as well as appearances) whereas the best run of starts Francis Cummins achieved was 87.
Therefore in respect of consecutive starts Carl Gibson's 91 is Scott Donald's next target.

After the Harlequins game Keith now heads the list alone on 141.
Also at The Stoop:
Kylie Leuluai made his 50th Appearance for Leeds
Jamie Jones-Buchanan made his 50th appearance from the bench in the SL Regular Rounds
Simon Worrall became the 1st Leeds player in 163 matches (Danny McGuire - 26/07/2002) to not get on from the bench in the SL Regular Rounds
Looking forward
Ryan Bailey needs 1 start for 100 in the SL Regular Rounds
Scott Donald needs 1 try for 50 in the SL Regular Rounds
Rob Burrow needs 1 (2 point) goal to move clear of Graham Holroyd and move into 3rd place on Leeds' place kicking list during the SL Era

I have no (independent) way of verifying what Farrell did or didn't do so it's not something I'd personally look to include here.
The last time Rob Burrow missed a kick at goal for Leeds was V Bradford, 7th July 2006. That game ended with his match winning conversion off the Southstand touchline into the empty building site.
2006 - 12
2007 - 5
2008 - 7

Agreed. In a way, it would have been a litte better if it had been way off target rather than drifting agonisingly wide.

Too right, I was gutted. At least he moved one clear of Holroyd with the earlier conversion in the Leeds SL Era (2 point) Goal list:
1 - Kevin Sinfield 841
2 - Iestyn Harris 594
3 - Rob Burrow 128
4 - Graham Holroyd 127
5 - Ben Walker 119
6 - David Furner 38
7 - Francis Cummins 33
=8 - Ashley Gibson 8
=8 - Lee Smith 8
10 - Dean Lawford 4
In fact this completes the list:
11 - Jordan Tansey 3
=12 - Gavin Brown 2
=12 - Graham Mackay 2
=12 - Sateki Tuipulotu 2
Matt Diskin has become the 6th player to make at least 200 Appearances for the Leeds club in the SL Era.
1 - Kevin Sinfield 295
2 - Keith Senior 277
=3 - Francis Cummins 268
=3 - Barrie McDermott 268
5 - Rob Burrow 233
6 - Matt Diskin 200
Ali Lauitiiti's next appearance will be his 100th in the Super League Regular Rounds. He will become the 20th player to do so for Leeds. Gareth Ellis could become the 21st member but only if he plays in all of the remaining 6 regular round fixtures.
Finally - and this is potentially a bit of a landmark:
If Scott Donald plays on Saturday it will be his 91st consecutive Appearance (and presumably, start) and will equal the Leeds (All Time) record set by Carl Gibson between 1988 and 1990.
It will have taken Donald 71 days less to achieve the mark.

| Scott Donald has now set a new Leeds record for Consecutive Starts (92) with his CC SF appearance last Saturday. Well done Scotty, has there been any mention of this anywhere else?
The only minor landmark I can see coming up at the Warrington game will be Ian Kirke's 50th Appearance for Leeds.
Now that the Challenge Cup is over for Leeds for another season:
Challenge Cup - Leeds SL Era
Most Appearances: Kevin Sinfield 34
Most Starts: Francis Cummins 33
Most Substitutes Appearances: Jamie Mathiou 15
Most Tries: Mark Calderwood 17
Most Goals: Iestyn Harris 90
Most Drop Goals: Kevin Sinfield 4
Most Points: Iestyn Harris 213

If it's the single infamous incident the answer would be Zero.
Not even Damien Gibson hit the deck as the ex-marine unloaded his best artillery.

Quite. Some Bulls fans have built this incident up in their memories to Brian Mac taking on the entire Leeds pack single handedly
