| Totally agree mate
Came up with awesome signings early days at Sheffield I used to see him at rothwell lots of the players were from cas
Powell Ashton Sheridan Lawton then he brought senior absolute legend Farrell and fleary also he brought over Tawera nikau I think tony Kempe Blackmore and many more absolute diamonds the recruitment at the eagles mick cook ect where awesome that’s why I think it’s time to go because he can’t do the same for leeds anymore.we need the new man who can nothing personal just business.

| It's not Gary's job to be signing players anymore.
If you think the club would be stronger without Gary that's your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it but my opinion differs.
What hes done for Leeds makes him the right man to ensure the business is operating without any danger financially.
We are very lucky to have him running our business.

Gary and Kev should surely see the squad is week with another half and centre desperately needed. They fiddle while Rome burns

| Not sure how you could actually get rid of Hetherington even if you were crazy enough to want it.
Well it would involve Caddick voting his fellow shareholder out which would be an astonishing thing. Hetherington's incomparable genius has given this club everything and Caddick's money has been irrelevant since about 2003 or so, when Hetherington earned the club enough to repay the initial loans. Ever since then it's been the club loaning money to Caddick not the other way around.

| GH has been fantastic for Leeds but it's time to to go.
The purse strings limit the signings, but the likes of Hurrell,Tui,Myler,Lui are simply bad

Quote ="Gotcha"I think that some people if not up to big boy pants, need to come out of their nappies and in to Tena pants. Seriously they are far too much not in control. By the time we get to play London in September, I very much doubt there will be less than 12 points between us, and probably a couple of teams in between. Relegation is never in a million years going to happen. What is more important is how we use the rest of the season to plan for next.
And that is not aimed at you Batley.'"
Gotcha, is relegation now a threat?

| About the only plus from getting relegated would be seeing how the club reacts in terns of sweeping out more of the garbage in the squad. Otherwise its just a disaster for Leeds and SL as a whole.

As funny as it would be to see Big Kev steer Leeds into relegation, I think everyone in Rugby League knows they wouldn't actually allow it to happen. Elstone has already hinted at a return to franchising and expanding the league, so I'd be 95% certain we'd see a change in regulations one way or another to save Leeds.

| I'm not so sure about that. There won't be much time to make any adjustments to the comp - you'd probably have to bring in two teams for a start to keep an even number.
The other thing that would at least keep me amused if we go down would be all the moaning about attendances in SL if Toronto take our place.

| If the comp was to fudge some way of keeping Leeds in SL it would be an insult to every other club that’s been in the relegation dogfight.
If you’re going to persist with P&R you cannot cherry-pick the consequences.
If we go down, we should take our medicine gracefully. It would be semi-catastrophic though.

There are literally no upsides for us or SL in general to us going down, if that sounds arrogant it's not I'm looking at the bigger picture not just us going down - however if we do then so be it, we will deserve it.

| We'd lose a couple of thousand from attendances who would be hard to get back. If we're only down for a year some sponsors might stick but some would go. Corporate cash would take a major hit.
That would mean looking for savings, particularly off the field, but there'd be no pont running a full SL strength squad and some players wouldn't want to spend a year in the championship either.
Not an utter disaster but it would take us a few years to recover to the point of being competitive.
As for the rest of SL they'd lose attendances and corporate, and god help SL negotiators if they're working on a new TV deal.
But never mind, the extra few hundred Leeds away fans will save the championship. Not.
I suspect whilst some fans of other clubs might be happy if we go down, those running other clubs will think the opposite.

| Not that I'm saying we shouldn't be relegated. But this is a logical possibility that comes from treating all SL clubs the same when they clearly aren't.
I'd think the same if it was Wigan or sts and I for one think SL made a huge mistake not moving heaven and earth to keep the bulls up.
This is not 1980 when Wigan went down - that was a semi-pro era with laughable crowds and a much poorer game financially.

| Cas fan here, one who doesn’t want Leeds relegated. I agree it will be disastrous for the game as a whole. Trouble is, using this argument and following it through, the same could be said of Sts, Wigan, Wire, Hull, Cats. But would the bigger picture include Salford, Cas, Wakey, Hudds HKR? I think not.

| I'm a Leeds fan so I obviously don't want us to go down and I'm 90% sure we won't think we'll just win enough games to see out the dreadful season but if I'm being honest and unbias now towards any teams I think with no disrespect intended it would be better for the whole if super league and English rugby if it was one of Wakefield, Huddersfield or Hull KR to go down. Leeds have been a big club for the most of the super league era and are on of the wealthiest clubs with a good academy system so it would be bad for our game if we did go down which I really really hope we don't. With London in Super League it's better it gives our game a capital input and London could be a team on the up if they got a bit more financial support and make rugby a really big hit down there if it was showcased properly there is potential for rugby league in London. Like I said no disrespect to Wakey, Hudds or KR they have positives to give the game but they are less compared to Leeds and London.
Wakey ( small club, old stadium not a big fan base never really competing for major honours. Would Super League miss them not really imo)
Hudds( Ok stadium but is a football ground and is never filled due to small fan base, never really competing for major honours again super league wouldn't really miss them imo even though it was the birthplace of rugby league. )
HKR ( already have a Hull fc in super league who seem to compete for major honours a bit more, KR probably have a strong fan base but not like a Leeds, Saints or Warrington. Hull derby probably would be missed for television but think super league would be fine without KR in super league .
As I said I don't want to disrespect these other teams but imo it would be a better outcome for all apart from the club that is relegated obviously relegation is not good for anyone involved with it but unfortunately that's sports major sports have it and it creates entertainment and money so someone has to suffer it.

| Last year was Mac losing the plot then not replacing him. We then bring in Furner for who the team wouldnt play for then we haven't replaced him with quality. So that's 2 of the years. 2016 I do believe was the effect of Sinfield retiring and the floods to the training ground. Dont forget we were no where near finishing bottom then it was the bottom 5 or 6 or whatever it was..
