League 1, Championship, Premiership, Conference North, would anyone rather support another club than ours?
At least until the world stops going round. If Millwall were champions of Europe, the world and the galaxy I'd still rather support Leeds. Same goes for any other club.

As for this discussion about how "big" LUFC are we're still the biggest club in this division. Come next season the vast majority of clubs will have their highest attendance against us, both because of our travelling support and the fact we're still a big name to the casual supporter.

However, we are in this division because we deserve to be here, the size of your fanbase, the media you can attract, nothing matters apart from how you perform on the pitch and we simply haven't been good enough to get out of the third tier of English football.

Larry, so far, has been a good appointment. Got us playing with confidence and appears to have sorted out the defence stupidity that cost us under Mac. Naylor was an inspired signing, and Sodje alongside him would be great if we could get him full time.

However, there's still work to be done. I thought their goal last night came down partly to very poor positioning from Kasper. He was glued to the near post when the first cross came in, which meant he had to tear across the goal to block any header. Once they'd nodded it back into the middle he had to turn again and was in no position to do anything. I'm not saying they wouldn't have scored anyway, but with a better keeper he'd at least have had a chance.

i mentioned this at the time.he was 5 yards in front of his goal,shocking positioning.

i would love sodje to stay but i would guess it's 50/50. he has enjoyed it but may want to go back to reading to take a chance under the new manager

As mentioned, they've got a new manager coming in, which could well muddy the waters. Might be a case of him going back there to test the lie of the land but if he's in the same boat there's a chance we could get him.

Hope so. I think he's quality and he is one of the best defenders we've had since we got relegated from the premiership.

I'd rather we keep Snodders and Becchio over Beckford and Delph but way the last 2 performed last night and as far as we know no one has bid for those 2 this season they could be staying. There was prem teams interested in Delph but no one has ever bid for him.

Still love to know why Beckford took that pen when Snodgrass is the designated penalty taker. Would have been a different game had we scored that.

Beckford 34 goals and Delph is class in the centre and rightfully deserved the leagues young player of the year. A couple of bad games and everyone wants rid. I agree we need to keep Snodders and Bechio but imo Beckford and Delph are more influential. Totally disagree with him having the pen though, should have been snodders or Robinson

If we want to get out of this league once and for all we need consistancy. And I think a full season under Larry will bring us that. Plus we need a guy who can get 30+ goals a season. We know Jermaine can do it. So we should try our best to keep hold of him. And Delph is one of the hottest prospects on the planet. A whole host of big clubs across Europe would want him in thier squad. I don't think much needs changing. Afew tweeks here and there like someone has already said.

But I guess it all depends on Bates and if he wants the money. Because there will definitely be offers on the table for our key squad members.

Oh he can. Like you say Lambert could do exactly the same job, if not better, we have a much higher quality squad to Bristol. He could do one better in our team.

The thing for me mate is the money we'd get for delph and beckford(whose attitude stink's and once again he's bottled the big game) would mean we could afford to offer a deal to sodje have enough to boost the coffer's and strengthen the squad whilst been able to keep beechio,snodgrass and robinson.
I'd love to keep beckford and delph if we could do that and strengthen the squad whilst beating the "look at me" attitude out of beckford.
I don't think we can though especially with the redevelopment plans papa smurf has in place!!
