It's a big game, if we lose it's not the end of the world, but probably the end of our chances for top spot after Saints beating Cas tonight, I couldn't see us overturning 6 points.

I think with losing last week and watching blueys interview on rhinos t.v he already looked under pressure before tonights results.

Depleted squad, ill-disciplined and not in the best of form – I think we’d be lucky to take the 2 points, Bluey must be feeling a little tetchy at the moment.

Think Bluey should work with the refs rather than critisise. It's the players that are been lazy and ill dissaplined. You have to accept what the refs say even if you know they're wrong. You have to work with and around them. I'm a fan of Bluey but that's shown perhaps a lack of experience in club management ans bias towards defending his players who are in the wrong.

In desperation at finding a way of listening to the match today, and not finding one on Radio Leeds (! one would think that this match would have featured on this station) I found Yorkshsire Radio.

The commentary was far superior to Radio Leeds and in future will listen to Yorkshire Radio. Maybe RL should look to their laurels!!!

It's always Bradford as the feature match., has been for years. I couldn't believe with 4 minutes to go they swapped over to the Shay where Fax were 8 points ahead.

Great effort today and after bombing so many chance's and the giants tough defence at 12-0 down we were looking at another defeat.
The forwards put some great effort in especially when we lost ablett in the 1st half and were down to 16,kylie's 1st stint lasted until the 30th minute and he and bailey stood up well today.
The giants will easily make the top 8 imo and will be tough for anyone to beat.

Brent Webb reminded us all why he is the best fullback in the world today. Outshone his opposite in every department.

As a team in the first half we was world beaters. Just a shame we was playing against a defence that’s jumping way above its weight at the moment.

Second half however we was shocking. Play like that against Saints on September the 4th then we done for. More of the first half please Rhinos!

Tough defence? That was the worst away team I have seen at Headingley this season. They were gash. Leeds were absolute tosh. There is no excuses, it was far from a great effort.

They were up in our faces and considering how much ball we had in their half i thought they dug in well.
Catalan and hull were a lot worse imo and considering how we found ourselves 12-0 down and bombing chances with a weakened team we could of given in but in terms of spirit and effort it was great.
Lets not forget the giants were level on points with us on merit and are a decent team this year,good win and a great effort all things considered.

Had we had lost that game, you would quite rightly have been bemoaning just how far backwards we are going.

Because we won, the cracks are papered over, and you seriously have the opinion that it was a great effort.

It was poor, and we should never have been in that position. The game as a whole was pish poor. You dont pay money to watch those sort of tactics on a rugby field. Leeds were clueless, and Huddersfields defence was aided by a combination of Leeds been clueless, and the ref simply not playing to the rules of the game. The game plan of Huddersfield was not worth paying money for.

The execution was pants but the effort to dig in was good imo and in the end they got the win.
The end result is 2 points and in terms of this match it is just what we needed i agree the ref was poor but i think he was for both teams dropping the ball 4 times with line begging is not clueless as you put it,it's poor execution and the guts to dig in and get the win when we looked like losing is a good effort in terms of determination and spirit and i think yer been harsh on the giants who came to get stuck in.

lets face it, league position means zero.we don't need to bust a gut and win 20 odd games in a row. looks good but it's one game in october that counts

you've got to be in contention come september though.

Yeah we play rubbish and score tries. Play world class and we score a big fat zero which was thanks to a defence that is jumping way above its weight atm!
