if a player wants to 'borrow/loan' a player for a season say then the players club can demand a fee. it doesn't often happen however

He is Glasgow Rangers registered player, on loan at Blackpool until Jan 2009. Then he either returns to Rangers, goes back out on loan, or they sell him for 200K.

i know who he is but didn't know how long the loan was. if there is no recall claus then he couldn't join leeds till the end of the season if blackpool wouldn't release him,even if leeds paid a fee to rangers in jan

As far as I know, his loan from Rangers ends in Jan 2009 (just like Kandol). So he is free agent to find another club, he could join Blackpool, but surely a call from Leeds is a better option now Admiral Grayson leads the team

Don't know why your discussing bringing players from Blackpool to Leeds. I'm surprised Grayson has gone, must have been a high-pay contract. Why would anyone want to move down a division unless they can't cope in that division. It's like saying Michael Owen will move to Barnsley in January.

Leeds played well yesterday considering Leicester City are by far the best footballing team in League One. Personally I dont have problem with Simon Grayson getting the job. He seems to of turned Blackpool into a half decent side. Had Boothroyd of taken the job and Leeds not got promoted by end of next season then someone else would of come in for him & I dont doubt he would of left. With Davies think you gotta look into the reasons why he hasnt already been snapped up by any other club. IIRC he was interviewed for Leeds job last time round.

No doubt the talent is at Elland Road just needs someone to get the tactical side of things sorted.
